PopTodd Posted July 7, 2015 Share Posted July 7, 2015 My father (a Teamster) worked with Jerry on Oceans Eleven and Oceans Twelve when they shot here in Chicago.And my grandfather's name was also Jerry Weintraub, so my dad and the producer had a connection there. Not only that my dad was one of the only Jewish Teamsters that he had ever met, but they also shared a last name, and Jerry actually had the same name as my dad's father.One day while they were shooting one of the "Oceans" movies, Jerry asked my dad to go pick up his grandchildren at the airport—a boy and a girl. He told my dad their names—Annette and Joseph. My dad freaked out a little.Annette and Joseph Weintraub were the names of my dad's grandparents. My grandfather Jerry's parents.
