Hey guys.... Tomorrow, Saturday March 6 at 10am, the tickets for Jeff Tweedy solo will be on sale at a new ticket price. This is a benefit for scholarships. The tickets will be $50.00. These are for any seat except the Golden Circle which is directly in front of the stage. The show is at the Vic Theater in Chicago, where pretty much any seat is a good seat. Hi guys, The tickets that go on sale tomorrow for $100 will be for the floor and the balcony, excluding the golden circle seats. The golden circle seats will also be available for purchase. These are reserved but not assigned. Also.....there's pretty much not really any bad seats at the Vic. Hope to see you there! xo srmt

Hi. There is no password required. Also....as this is a benefit for scholarships for a montessori school, we always go on sale first to the parents. There usually is a password required for this, but we aren't doing that this year. Anyone can buy tickets today. Similar to the other years, when we open the ticket sales to the public, the price will most likely come down. However, that won't be Saturday like it said on Ticketmaster. It will probably be in a week-ish. Thanks! xo srmt

Can someone please explain the Tweedy "Living Room Shows"?
srmt replied to Bart's topic in Just A Fan
Hi people, Actually, this: 4. It is my understanding that the powers that be signed off on the shows being shared with the public a couple of years ago. is NOT true. Jeff never gave permission for the Living Room Shows to be distributed outside of the people at the Living Room Show. Sorry guys.....from the horse's mouth. xo srmt -
The "golden circle" tickets are the only reserved seats. It is the group of seats on the floor, closest to the stage. You do not have to arrive early if you have those tickets. Thanks, srmt

You will be able to get up in the balcony with your $100 ticket. But if you are trying to get in the first couple of rows, I'd get there earlyish. Thanks. srmt

Hi guys, As of right now you can't buy tickets to the solo benefit shows at the Vic on Feb 13 and 14. We are re-issuing the tickets starting this Friday with a less expensive option. You will still be able to buy floor seats for $100, but you will also be able to purchase balcony seats for $50. The Vic is not very big so the balcony seats are pretty darn good. Just as a reminder, these shows have been REALLY fun and REALLY funny in the past. It really is kind of like a large living room show as people have said. I even go outside before the show and take personal requests, similar to a li

Tickets are $100 and can be purchased online at http://ticketmaster.com or at the Vic box office. The proceeds from these shows will benefit a children's scholarship fund, the Emanuel Congregation, and The Kawasaki Disease Research Fund for Children's Memorial Hospital. Here is a little bit of info being put out about the Kawasaki Disease part: In support of Kawasaki Disease research for Chi

Hi Guys, This Friday at noon, the remaining tickets will go on sale for $100. Thanks and hope to see you there! srmt

Guys! The reason I said that I would tell you NEXT week how to get tickets was to try to avoid this confusion. OY! Ok, here's the thing........Here's what we do every year......First, I sell the tickets to the people more closely involved with the reasons for the benefit, such as the school parents, etc. THEN, when I finish with that, I open up the remaining tickets to the public, and the ticket price goes down to $100. So, to review.....you can buy them Tuesday for $150 or assume that there will be tickets left (which there have been each year) and wait to buy them for $100, which is wha

Hi Everyone, We are planning another benefit show at the Vic. If you have not been to one of these shows before......they are really FUN!! It's kind of like a giant living room show. So for all of you who are not going to one of the Living Room shows, (and those of you who are) this is your chance. We are doing TWO nights this year because we have multiple recipients we want to give the money to. This year we will be giving money to our school's scholarship fund, our synagogue and our disease (Kawasaki Disease Research). So.....the shows are Friday Feb. 13 and Saturday Feb. 14. Hello Vale

Just me again, shoving our benefit show thread back up to page one. Hi! xo srmt

Yes....the setup will be basically the same. It will be G.A. and and a group of the front seats were sold at a school fundraiser to parents, etc. The front sides will be open. Pretty much everywhere in the Vic is a pretty good seat tho! Hope to see you there! srmt

Sorry about that-it's been corrected. You can now get tickets at the Vic box office. Thanks!! srmt

So.......we're going to be doing another benefit for the scholarship fund at our kid's school. This will be a Jeff solo show at the Vic Theater. For everyone who is not in a group bidding for a living room show at Letters To Santa, this is a great opportunity to see Jeff solo in what is kind of like a really big living room. The show last year was really fun. It's a benefit so tickets are not cheap, but they will be substantially less than what most people pay in the living room show groups. So although, it's not in your friend's living room, it's pretty cool anyway. So don't be sad if you're
