  1. No, Jeff did NOT learn how to use the washing machine!!

But anyhoo, I just saw this happy birthday to me thread and I wanted to say thank you very much! I appreciate all of your well wishes, you are very sweet. And Happy Birthday to Paul and Johnny too!

Today is my brother Danny's birthday and I think you should all go to his blog and comment on his birthday post so he quits his caterwauling that nobody ever reads and or comments on the thing.

    Happy Birthday everyone!!

    Love,

ps: his blog is dannymiller.typepad.com/blog/ or you can just google "jew eat yet?"

  2. The seat numbers on the tickets do not mean anything. Just ignore the numbers. It is general admission. The only reserved seats are the tickets that were sold at the school fundraiser. Those people paid $250.00 for a seat in the reserved section. But again, everywhere in the Vic is a pretty good seat. It's a pretty cozy room.

    Thanks and see you there!!

  3. The show will be a general admission seated show. Meaning it is first come, first served but it will be all seats. There will be a reserved section up front, of seats that were sold at the school event for more money. Other than those, it will be seat yourself. I think anywhere you are in the Vic is a pretty good seat tho.

    Thanks!

  4. Just in case you didn't see this in the other thread.......

    Ok......here is the ticket info......

The tickets will go on sale tomorrow (tuesday) at noon! You can get them through Ticketmaster OR the Vic box office where you can avoid the service charge. The Vic is at 3145 N. Sheffield. The box office hours are Monday through Friday-noon to 6pm. You have to get them in person here and you have to have cash.

Tickets will be $100.00 and there will be an AWESOME Johnny Lackey poster for sale at the show. The show will be at 8:00, doors at 7, it's 18 and over and there will be no opener. Just an evening of Jeff.

I really hope I see you all there!!

    Thanks so much,

    Susan

  5. To answer a couple of questions that have been asked.....

If you want to buy your tickets at the Vic, you have to go to the box office and I am remembering right now that they only take cash.

Otherwise, you can use Ticketmaster, where there will be a service charge that I am trying to get a cap put on, but anyhoo you can reach them at 559-1212 or ticketmaster.com. I think the area code is 773-if not, then it's 312. (duh)

And I have never tried this, but it actually looks pretty great if you are travelling here on a tight budget:

Other than that....befriend your fellow vcer's and maybe someone will put you up for the night!

  7. Hi everyone,

Ok, so here's the deal.....we are raising money for the scholarship fund at our kids' school. This show was offered to the parents at a school event last week. I thought we would sell a heck of a lot more tickets than we did. SO.........I am going to open this show up to you guys and well, anyone who you guys tell about it! It's going to be Friday April 6. It will be at the Vic, but don't call The Vic about it yet. I will get all the details about how to get tickets and post it here on Monday. We sold the tickets at school for $150.00 to $250.00. I will lower the price when we put them on sale to $100.00. I realize that is a lot of money, but it's for charity and it will be fun. It will be like getting a chance to go to a living room show in a very large living room!

The show will be at 8:00 and it will be 18 and over. There will be no opener. Just Jeff.

I hope to see you there!

    Thanks!

    xxoo
