  1. Seriously...I mean they've compared to Being There so much yet that was a double album, so I'm hoping that means we'll get a nice chunk of bonus stuff.

As far as dad rock goes...I'm 18 and I love Wilco. Sure, the've gotten a bit more mellow over time. And seeing Wilco live after seeing My Morning Jacket the night before was a really sharp contrast...but hey...it makes their catalouge much richer when you see the music change with the people. It's one reason why I'd prefer Wilco to say...Son Volt. Sure, Son Volt may always be bringing on the alt country rock, but as a musician I can relate much more to the type of range that Wilco has shown. It's natural. I doubt it'l be 'dad rock'. It'll be danceable, dirty soul music.

  2. You could be like me, and use heavier strings. I never have ANY tuning problems. Heavier strings stay in tune better. All this crap I see people bitching about, having to replace tuners, tuning inbetween songs, capos etc., I've never had to deal with any of it.

Just grab a set of 11s. I only use 12s on aucostic these days, and those work well too.

  3. Theres a good bit from last year when they played 'is that the thanks i get?' at chapel hill. He talks at the end about being a 'fucked-up-indie kid'.

I wish I had the mp3 on this computer, but mabye you guys have that one.

  4. I was there....God bless GA, I was right up front. I didn't catch the setlist either, I was way too busy enjoying the show. I don't think I actually breathed until I was on my way out. :w00t

It was a completly different experience than going to see Wilco the next day...where I paid almost twice as much to get stuck up in the 2nd balcony.
