I'm the guy with too much time and requested Magazine Called Sunset, again and again. 14 Wilco/Tweedy shows this is the 2nd time hearing it. Thanks Jeff, it was a great night!

Keep trying I literally just pulled up one seat in Row B.
Me too! 12 minutes after they went on sale! Couldn't get two together until just now. Don't give up hope just yet folks!

Just wanted to add that we thought it was a great show in London! We had main floor, row N pretty much center of the floor. There were a few tall guys in front of us, but still we usually had good sight lines. And surprisingly the sound there was good too! There was definitely a weird vibe coming off the crowd, but it wound up being all good. After the show, all the guys (except Jeff, or at least we didn't see him) worked their way outside to graciously sign a few autographs and pose for some pics. Very nice of them to do that - especially in the cold! So thanks again for that guys.
Yeah I'm a little spoiled after last year's Royal Oak show, but damn glad we made it to this one!

Wow, that looks like a great set! Hope we get something similar tonight in London.

The only other band that gets me really excited about seeing them play live is Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers. When it's tour time for either Wilco or RCPM, I'll work on getting to a show somewhere.

Jeff played several great covers earlier in the year at his solo Valentine's Day show in Chicago. Some are already mentioned here (such as Fake Plastic Trees, Simple Twist of Fate) but I want to give a shout out for his cover of Iggy's I Want To Be Your Dog. He did a fantastic job on that one.

Row N for London, Ont presale. Was hoping for better, but since I won't be home during the day for the Ticketbastard sale, that's as good as I can expect. Oh well. Got my hotel all booked and should be a good time. London is a fun town.

I think my girlfriend feels the same way. In fact, I think she's come pretty close to doing just that, once or twice.

I, for one, am thrilled for a London, Ontario show! Cennetinal Hall sure has a dated vibe, but damn it's nice to see the band kinda close to home.

The real question is why were people voting Spiders? Maybe this is my game theory sense tingling but you vote for things you want to hear that you normally don't hear, right? If a song is guaranteed, don't vote for it.
I think most of those votes probably come from people who don't look at setlists and stuff like that. The average fan has no clue what gets played on a regular basis.
I voted for I'll Fight.

I took a bunch of pictures but I left my camera cord at home and won't be back until next week. I got a few good ones of the backup singers so I'll pass them along when i get home.
What a great show. My friends and I got in a little late so we didn't have a very good view but oh well. The sound got better and better throughout the night but started out a little muffled. Really fun show with a lot of great highlights.
Thanks Wilco!
Oh damn. Sorry I wasn't really following who was going to this one. I still owe you a beer for that Vic show.
Such a great show last night! Leading up to this, last week, a big part of I75 was destroyed by a gas tanker explosion. Not only did that get fixed up just in time for the show (smoothest part of I75 right now), but there was nobody to collect the fee at the parking garage after the show - score free parking! Even Customs going over and coming back were cool. It's like the stars aligned for us Wilco fans last night!
I pity my girlfriend. Work at 8 am today. I took the day off.

Awesome, awesome show last night!
Out of the 10 Wilco shows I've seen, that's got to be my favourite. They just kept playing, and playing, and playing.
And the guys were very kind about signing autographs and posing for pictures after the show too. Damn, I love Wilco!
Thanks a lot guys! Hope to see you again soon.

My girl and I will be there. Excited to see an 'evening with Wilco'. Haven't seen the band play since last year's Residency in Chicago.

There's a good chance that - gasp - every artist making music today is not doing it just for the money.
The artists? Possibly. Their lawyers, no way.

Going away this weekend and would love some traveling music. And this sounds great. Thanks!

Apparently, no matter how difficult it is for Prince to get a camel delivered to his door in the dead of winter at 3AM, Wilco is unfettered by such problems and has some of the best camel-acquiring connections in the music biz.
Are you suggesting that Kevin Smith has filmed "The Making of Wilco The Ablum"? Because that could be great.
-
They definitely captured my best side.
I've yet to attend a party that required a camel. That right there...is one of my greatest regrets.

I was hoping for 2 reserved in the mezz, and I was clicking from 9:58 until 10:30 and never saw any mezz tickets come up
Eventually took 2 in the balcony. Now we have to wait in line. Oh well.
