  1. It would, yes...and countless others. It read as some arbitrary starting point w/Anodyne.

DILLARD AND CLARK DILLARD AND CLARK DILLARD AND CLARK

glad to see some one else loves this lost masterpiece as much as I do. It is oh so perfect.

  2. John Hartford's Aeroplane opens for a fragment of "Turn Your Radio On" and closes witht he whole song. It is a neat concept, it is suppossed to be like you are listening to the radio and waiting for that one special song you only caught a snippet of to come back on. He even does a radiospot part way through. Top notch album by the way.

  3. some would consider Wilco a jeff tweedy solo project, you know with him changing band members all the time and everything. I am not complaing just stating a theory, and kind of agreeing with some previous statements. I would like to hear the solo stuff without the hoots and yells as well.

  4. I was thinking of all the time and effort the band put into the WG songs. If anyone 'should ' be there performing, it's Wilco and Bragg. It's not like they're owed anything, but it would've been the right thing. (frinstance the Mermaid Ave work was profiled in a major way in the travelling Woody exhibit that toured the US in 2000..I saw it in DC).

I guess it just wasn't possible this time. I'll get over it. :)

Woody wrote alot more music than those two mermaid avenue records, you should check them out, start with the dustbowl ballads or maybe the asche recordings

  5. I got to see sci a couple of times over the years and a bunch this last fall, they just seemed to be where I was going. Anyways, they were a great fun time everytime I saw them, not everything needs to be serious and thought out. These shows were my dance parties, and the boys had a good time too, flying off the cuff. It was always fun thats all that matters.

  6. A.M. is fun, and got some hidden gems, often over looked, but not best dbut ever, sorry.

SOUTHEASTERN CT, where you guys all from, I was raised in mystic and went to school in New London but I am in southwestern VA for now. I will be up that way soon though but only for a little and then Burlington VT. I do not want to go back to CT for too long for awhile I am afriad to say

  7. I am a fan of neither, social bullshit is what I think they are, sorry to be the angry guy but as a college student myself i feel that they lead to drama, trouble and fake friends who don't even really say hi to you in public anyways. and who cares about the pictures of your drunk ass from friday night
