  1. Thank you SO much for posting this! I wasn't able to purchase one at the show, but just got one now.
  2. Also just to add....most of the feedback and noise moments in the songs are also present on the album versions of those tracks. The end of Poor Places for example...and the beginning of I Am Trying To Break Your Heart. I think it was pretty cool to get that same element live. I understand it's probably not for everyone though - casual Wilco fans that only know a few songs probably don't dig it, or people who were there mainly to see Nick Lowe.
  3. I made it a point to get there early, because I heard Nick Lowe was to not be missed. But I have to say....I was underwhelmed. Perhaps he needed a backing band behind him, but he was pretty boring. I realize he's sort of a legend, and I was glad I made a point to see him, but I felt like his performance was pretty bare with just the acoustic. And I was in the 2nd row - right in front of him. I think it would have fit in at a coffee house or something, but it didn't really work as an opener to Wilco - just my opinion obviously - and surely not shared by many, because he seemed to have seve
  4. Amazing show. I took my dad, who I introduced to Wilco about a year ago - but this was his first time seeing them. He said he would put the first hour of their set in his 'top 5 best shows i've ever seen' category. We had 2nd row orchestra pit tickets, so that certainly doesn't hurt - but I agree that it was a phenomenal show. I went to all 3 nights of their run at the Pageant back in 2008, which obviously covered more ground as far as hearing more songs - but I really enjoyed the setlist tonight. I was glad they played Poor Places - that's my dad's favorite song - i was really shocked it
  5. Oh man, I feel for everybody that got screwed today, but I managed to score BBB orchestra pit tickets (2nd row from stage) during the Frontgate presale on wednesday and I wouldn't know what to do with myself if they voided this date and resold all the tickets.
  6. Hey everybody. This is my first post here. Registered a LONG time ago, but never posted anything until now. Here's a quick little recording I did of Dash 7. I'm not the best vocalist, but I'd be curious to see if you guys think the guitar sounds close. I tried to figure this out by ear tonight, so here goes nothing. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NDKMWN7G
