  1. I think there was a switch in the wrong position on Patrick Sansone's keyboard causing it not to play.
  2. John Stirratt said during his interview today with David Fricke that it's a self-titled album, making the self-mocking jokes about jokes about how that's a bad sign. He said it was because, although the album's content came together quickly, the art for the cover did not. Somehow that kept them from coming up with an album name. Of course, the album does contain the track "Wilco The Song." Makes you wonder.
  3. He was also trying to inject himself in the set by "talking with" Tweedy. Fairly annoying.
  4. Sansone worried about sounding corny, but he need not have. Great stories about growing up in the building. He said when he was about 7 years old, he was running around on the stage, pointed to the back corner and said that's where he ran into Ray Charles, who said something about who's that down there. He pointed to the corner of the stage that he normally occupies with Wilco and said where he was playing guitar tonight was the same place he'd first played an electric guitar.
