Today I woke up thinking "oh this would have been the 32nd anniversary of REM if they were still around". I then open up Facebook to one of the first posts in my news feed, posted by said band "well this IS the 32nd anniversary of the band". I'm getting confused. It's like being "a little bit pregnant but not quite". Next thing will hopefully be tour dates?

I wouldn't mind this week being over already ...

Had such a lovely morning yesterday with the most beautiful people in the world (aka my former teachers and their new boss) that even work seems so much easier after spending a few hours with them. I love you guys so much

So after being home for what feels like just hours, I am packing again for almost a full week away in our HQ to get some serious brainstuffing (also called "manager training"). Numbers, statistics, leadership rules, statistics, sales strategies, oh and I did I mention statistics yet??

So as usually we are starting a 7 weeks lent period tonight (no worries, the 1 week holiday will be excluded ). We're not religious or anything at all, yet we use the time to do some detox, have less sweets, more exercise .... and this year also again without Facebook. Which means I'll deactivate my account soon. Behave, everyone

We just got the news that the council sees no reason why we shouldn't build the house that we want on the piece of land that we picked. So by the looks of it we're good to go and sign our lives away on Tuesday evening !!

Today marks 3 events: 1 goodbye, 1 hello and 1 birthday. Goodbye FORD, hello Toyota and most importantly HAPPY BIRTHDAY Dad/Granddad/Helmut
