This is some good stuff here: The Symbols on My Flag (And What They Mean)
The quicksand represents the travails of life. The hand sticking out of it is so you know it -
Thanks for this. The other articles are great, too.

I kind of miss autumn. I saw a branch of a palm tree fall down, that's about it.

As always, Purple Chick discs are fan created and NEVER FOR SALE.
So, I'd think it's ok to post the links.
EDIT: but the main material is commercially available, so what do I know?
This is a page on Rolling Stone, that gives you the original CD version and the Purple Chick version of "And Your Bird Can Sing" to compare:

Finally got in for the Dr. Pepper. Oh, and the album sucks.

Revisiting theses. Definitely great stuff. Can't imagine being there; they're having so much fun.

David O'Brien, who writes the Braves blog for AJC, has been obsessed with these lately. It's nice to read a blog that talks about baseball trades and Dylan/Cash. http://www.ajc.com/blogs/content/shared-blogs/ajc/braves/

Mr Rain, you're not trying hard enough.
Isn't there something between a bailout and bankruptcy. From what I've read, bankruptcy won't work for this industry, but I certainly don't want to just give them money. It seems like this could be an opportunity to make some great changes to the industry while using their existing infrastructure.
I'd like to see the CEO's have to downgrade their homes and take a massive pay cut. I'd like to see the industry do well, too. I definitely have to read more on this, but I don't think bankruptcy is a good idea short term or long term.

Yeah, I guess the version from the album is the one that we danced to at our wedding, but man, I like the live version much better (from lower down on the same page). Thanks for the link - I love that website.
The guitar solo on that song is amazing. Very simple and repetitive but it's perfect. The version from Bittersweet Motel is great.
EDIT: That's weird. We basically typed the same thing at the same time.
On another point: Thinking about seeing Phish again, something that I keep getting excited about almost as much as the music is Kuroda's lights.

Haha, awesome!
Sample is pretty easy... And fun. Also, I know Roses are Free is a cover, but that's pretty easy too.
Waste was my first dance at my wedding. Also, pretty easy, but that one chord. Damn you, chord!! When I am in the first/second fret this pinky just can't get to the 5th fret on the high e string. Maybe by our 50th wedding anniversary, I can finally perform it for her.

Lets bear through the pain now for the sake of a good future of America.
"Let's" includes who? If I am reading your statements correctly, you are expecting to lose your job through this and are fine with that?

Taylor Hollingsworth is a great guitar player for sure.
He played/sang one of his originals that night.

Spoon - Don't Make Me A Target
The Hold Steady - One for the Cutters

These are really googd, not that I've ever heard them or anything

I found it interesting to note that, according to this list, Prince is the best songwriter of the last 30 years: He's the only songwriter with 5 tracks on the list (4 by him and Sinead O'Connor's cover of "Nothing Compares 2 U").
It's finally happened. I agree with Pitchfork on something.

Add a cover of the Beatles' Something and an acapella Freebird to the encore and I'll take it!
It would be awesome if they would do a complete Gamehenge with narration one of the nights. Some Harpua action also, possibly surrounding Gamehenge.

I've seen a video of that performance.
EDIT: It's on youtube but (thankfully) the nakedness is edited out.
-
The only place I've seen it is on scary public trackers like pirate bay. I can share it this evening if someone doesn't get to you folks by then.

His new band is a lot better than he is.
For sure, the guitarist was great and the organ player had a whole mid-60's Dylan thing going.

It's not easy. I had to refresh about 100 times for it to accept mine.
