Well up for it, but kind of dreading it simultaneously. Shane Meadows is ace. I was born and still live within ten miles of his home town. Hearing his stories told in such familiar voices makes the dark turns really hard to take. I still haven't got over Romeo Brass and had to psych myself up to see Deadman's Shoes.The ending of the last Made in England was too much. Like someone said on twitter, he's one twisted fooker, but totally genius. It all rings too true.

Ha! Really? His accent is pretty standard south east English - I think he's from Swindon. I suppose he can talk quite quickly when he gets excited!

Mark Lamarr's R2 shows were brilliant, too. Ironically a comedian/ tv presenter who is passionate AND incredibly well informed about music, unlike the current lot on there. He has departed, though. WE ARE ALL DOOMED!

I hate the way that real Djs, who actually love and are knowledgeable about music, have been slowly eased out of Radio 2, and replaced with celebrity presenters and comedians who know nothing and care even less. Thank God for radio 6.

Know there wasn't You Are My Face or Sunloathe or Poor Places.... def played ALTWYS.... wracking my brains. My bro took a picture of the set list. I'll report back! They also had War on the set list, but didn't have time to play it. I blame Jonathan Wilson, but I'm not bitter.... transcendent gig.
