SO I love this band and have followed themfor years buying albums etc. I just wonder if we are seeing the end of the norm. Has Jeff decided to not look back. VW commercials and now SNL and crashing the plans of 1200 fans most of them that would travel to charleston. this isnt like NYC where everyone rides a subway to show and home. I was going over 200 miles each way.

But when you walk away from your paying customers to get paid by the big TV folks I just get to thinking we might be seeing the end or a good thing. Waiting til august to see the band play a year old album will be a let down. I know they will try to make it up to us but just not sure how you go out in front of 1200 folks and say hey sorry we F*** you in February but hell we are back now....

Hope time will heal but this is a cheap shot. Why not say hey we can do it before we head to austraila in a couple of weeks.

Jeff you owe us big for this one. And Lorne you suck......

As soon as I heard about the March 1st Saturday night live show I thought hell they tape it on Friday night or rehearse etc..... I am pissed..... 3rd row center seats and I need to see the boys bad... Worse deal is in AUgust Freaking RADIOHEAD is touring NOrth east and I want to see them...

Really disappointed and to not announce it immediately. I got lots of things to cancel as it was 4 hour drive.....

Damn Jeff You can do it without rehearsal and show up Saturday.....

Really sad when artist says boo to 1500 fans for a big time spotlight. Seems they would have said we can do it when we are free.

Thats life........

I went to that sportz bar before pearl jam in 96. Last show I saw in Charleston. Never been to PAC>

So i guess they possibly make the pit tickets not come up at first. But I was satisfied with 4-5 rows back dead center. I like dead center for the sound. Be careful that your lady doesnt fall asleep or piss Jeff off. He let one couple have it in Chapel Hill a few years back....

Looking forward to a fun night of music and hopefully a surprise or two. Anyone know of the opening band?

Yeah, I wouldnt bring the zoom lense or anything like that.. Just the smaller part that can fit in my wife's purse.. Defintely not bringing the full rig and no flash.

So did anyone get pit tickets in presale>? I am 3-4 rows behind pit but I think dead center....

The PAC says on their site that they do allow camera's/video if the performer allows it. So I guess I can bring my 35mm, just no flash.

cool I got a d200 and it would take some awesome shots if allowed.

all seated up front. i think they're labelled with double or triple letters like AA, BB, etc.

the camera thing is a no go unless you can sneak one in. the promoter usually has a professional photographer or two there.

and yes, magnolia's is Good Eats but on the pricey side, comparatively.

I am going to stay out at the beach for the weekend. Figured we can travel in to Charleston and all but wanted to be ocean front on isle of palms hope we get some nice weather. As far as special we should tell jeff it is like a free day so he should really turn it up. Maybe play the album all the way through start to finish.

I am in 3rd row and see there is a pit. is that seats or standing and did anyone score pit ticktets. Saw them on TM> Also can you bring good camera to shows>

Magnolia;s is a fancy restrurant last time we were there and enjoyed food very much.
