  1. I find it hard to believe that Jay, already struggling to pay for a much needed surgery, would get cosmetic surgery.

Especially considering he's a musician. Not a field where cosmetic surgery is necessary to stay around.

It just seems like if it was something else, they'd be more specific and sanctimonious.

  2. If you're playing Capo 3, the little slide/fill between stanzas is something like

    G]-2/-4/-2p-0

    D]-----------2

Which would of course harmonize with a higher bit if playing with though guitars, but on its own it sounds pretty good.

  3. I may be alone here, but I was thrilled to no end that he played Wait Up! Seen a gaggle of shows and never caught that one. In fact, no spam, I was the long-clapper that he reference as the "Old-Timer" (which I am none the less)...good for me!!!!!!!!!! Such a great song, and the over-all set list couldn't have been better for my tastes.

Jeff seemed to be having a good time on stage and his guitar playing was very sharp. I noticed it during the spiced-up version of Muzzle...seemed to have added a little panache.

Our group went all the way to the Blind Pig as well, the overall beverage options looked delicious, but opted for other venues...see prior "Old-Timer" reference.

Everyone in my section of the balcony looked at me funny because of how loud I was when Wait Up started.

    I was excited.

  4. I live in Columbia, MO, so yes, I have met quite a few people that know/like Wilco and Uncle Tupelo. Oddly enough at the MU Health center, one of the doctors there used to work at a record store with Tony Margherita and a friend of mine from High School's mom went to High School in Belleville and knew Jeff and Jay.

  5. I've heard Wilco or Uncle Tupelo in just about every establishment I frequent in Columbia. Go figure.

The best was when "Whiskey Bottle" was playing in Shakespeare's Pizza while I was drinking whiskey and sitting under the fabled "Liquor, Guns, and Ammo" sign (which used to be out on the highway and is referenced in the song).
