I'm kicking myself for not buying the camping tickets and now they appear to be sold out. If anyone decides not to camp please let me know!

The album cover looks like its from 1985. Looking forward to it. The song titles look promising.
It's a statue in Austria but yes, the script is very flashdance.

At one of the 'Evening with" shows I saw, a song was requested more times than there were seats in the venue. Jeff said "we don't reward cheating". But I think he did play it.
-
I got tickets as a high bidder and my bid was $50 per ticket. When I called today to pay for them, they kid on the phone thought I got a great deal. So I must have been at the low end of the high bidders.
I don't think they got the full 1000 (capacity) bids. They were still telling people to get their bids in on Monday morning just before the bidding closed. I think it has a lot to due with the fact that it's on a Tuesday night in a small, out of the way town.
Anyway, I am super excited to get to see them in that small room. Yay!
Wow, nice! It kinda sucks that I seemingly overbid but I'm in so I'm satisfied. Their tix are usually relatively cheap so paying extra once for a decent cause is alright. Better to be safe than sorry. I was thinking the same thing about them maybe not having enough bids. Not only it being a single show in a goofy small town but also because of the small bidding window they had. Would have made more sense to have bidding go through the end of the month or something. I'd love for them to give us the bidding stats, i.e. how many total, how high, how low, etc.
I'm in for Cooperstown, Essex Jct, MassMoCA, Hartford and Rochester. Looks like we'll all be seeing a lot of the same faces during an awesome week of Wilco.

Ok that covers everything. People have received emails 1) yay high bidder or 2) yay lottery winner or 3) sorry neither high bidder nor chosen in lottery. If you didn't get an email their system screwed up somehow. Or it's lost in one of your folders. Give them a call tomorrow to straighten it out. Don't worry, it'll all be fine.
-
I bid a little more than that, and I haven't heard anything yet.
Did you get the email confirmation that they received your bid? Check your junk folder maybe.
-
So I get home tonight and what do I have in my mailbox, that's right, tickets for Cooperstown and Vermont, thing is I just bought them on Friday, now that's the quickest I've ever gotten tickets. I bought Hartford on Wednesday, should I be concerned?
Yay, ticket mail is the best kinda of mail!

I PM'd you, Wilco Me.
Admins, maybe add an additional sub-forum to How to Fight Loneliness for Sharing Rides & Hotels? If people aren't looking for tickets they might be missing these opportunities.

The Hartford venue is awesome. One of my favourite Wilco shows was there.
MassMoca auction thing is a gamble for sure. I really want to go but I'm not going crazy with my bid. It's a tough call.
Any ideas what's up between July 9 and 14? I'm thinking a quick trip up for Ottawa Bluesfest would fit into their schedule well.
-
No idea. Unless the guest is Bob I'd prefer just Jeff alone.
-
Same here. I was all set with 3rd row Pit, got as far as payment and then it crapped out at shipping. Someone above said will call only but my only option was $10.00 shipping. I'm surprisingly not all that crushed. I'll just get great seats for the other shows around and will take or leave this one as it comes.
-
I got and ultimately lost P3 seat 26

Thank you for the reply! Unfortunately my boy won't be able to go, someday though. Looks like I'm going to a couple more shows solo! I'm getting to kind of like going alone however. It makes everything easier and after all, there's always plenty of super fans to share the experience with!
My thoughts exactly. Bummer your son can't join you but you'll have an awesome time regardless.
-
Well I went from having no tickets to having tickets so I guess I can't complain about my first ever print-at-home tickets. Wheeee Chicago!
-
Thank you Paul, great stuff.
-
Love this one best

Happy Birthday! I totally get your excitement. It's a gift that keeps on giving and I'm sure you'll smile every time you head out to the car. Not Wilco themed but mine makes me happy too. Even parking tickets are less painful with my plate printed on them

Good luck Ross. I hope it finds a worthy home.
-
Bump. Just because.
-
Is it just me or does Jeff's voice sound a little strained?

April 2012 is also the 10th anniversary of my first Wilco show

Thanks for the tip, Rob. I had no interest in camping but since it's proving so difficult to find anything reasonable nearby camping at Ommegang suddenly seemed like a viable option. Maybe they'll have cancellations or no-shows and I can worm my way in. If I have to drive (and therefore cannot drink) I wouldn't bother with camping at all and might just drive right to Essex Jct or sleep in the Echo. Everything else in planning this trip has been super smooth but I blew it big time for night 1!
