Hi from Torino, Italy!
-
Both, the vinyl was signed by all after the Torino Spazio211 Festival show on 07/17/2007. (I was very lucky..)
-
...and the second?

I never dreamed of Wilco...but:
WILCO THEMESLVES ARE A DREAM.
-
I don't know if SBS is better of YHF, (or A.M. or Summerteeth, or AGIB, or..u know..I don't like charts) but I am sure that by the time of the issue to the late fall I listened to it more than once in a day. Never happened with no other albums I have at home (I count near 5000 in my collection).
So, it would says something...
Bye all, I love this album!

I don't know if Jeff is a music fanatic as me, but we two have almost the same albums and the same taste, really. His mind could recognize all those different kind of music (seldom light years far from one to another: Stax soul, Nick Drake, Replacements) and choose the good inside of it.
It would be curious know if he follows some modern indie artists, there are many out there and I am sure he could loves some like Martin Craft, Songdog, The Shins, The National, John Vanderslice.
Surely he knows one of may favourite: Andrew Bird, one of the finest musicians around.
To those who like some folk music, I would suggest a great CD: Rachel Unthank & the Winterset - The Bairns (2007 on EMI): a without time great album.
Now I'm in love with the Martin Craft's Silver and fire CD, the debut album by a great songwriter, I am sure he will be famous one day.
..sorry for my rusty english...
Bye all!

I reckon it's on. I certainly won't be going to picnic this year (great great festival in general but the line up is criminal). Might try and catch them in a small stage in Europe again but avoid repeating the mistakes of Torino
I was in Torino (is my city), do you refer when the power went off during Spider? It was a sublime moment, I remember all the audience singing along the riff for minutes until the power return (with the band on stage with any kind of percussions and Kotche on drums). Talked with Wilco (Nels, John and Glenn) after the show, they told to me they were very satisfied how the concert was so good..

all you have to do is click on the star
oh my god...

-
I'm crossing fingers, I will program later my holidays just to follow them around Europe..
-
Let's hear it for rock - from A.M. Demos. right or not?
-
Here's a live, solo, acoustic version:
Many thanks ...but I'm still desperatly looking for the studio version (no way to download it legally from Italy).
I think it's the only song I miss!
-
I never listen to the Wilco "Old Maid".
Could someone post a link with a MP3 or something similar?
Thanks, Roby.

These look great. Thanks for spending the time doing this and sharing. I only have one problem; I only use the album art for itunes, and your particular artwork does not really work. I graped the first nights artwork from you in this thread http://forums.viachicago.org/index.php?sho...=34240&st=0 and was just wondering if the other nights could get a similar treatment. Do not trouble yourself at all just to please me, if it is a trouble I will just adjust the artwork you have already made. Thank you for everything you have already done.
How could I help you?
-
- When you drive from Italy to Barcelona, then Madrid only to see them
-When you check five times a day if the Riviera Posters are on sale in the wilcoshop (..and finally they are!)
- When you spend hours and hours to do artworks for the torrents until you are satisfied (check this: http://wilcobase.com/whats_new.php#)
- when as desktop background you have this:
-
Finally I have finished the covers for the Riviera nights.
It has been a huge work, I hope you like it.

Torino 07/17/2007, when power went off during Spiders: one of the most exciting moments in rock'n'roll.
-
Sorry, what are Pants?
-
Also, one request..... I know there are different recordings out there, but can you make nite 3 based on this one?

The sound quality on that torrent is really amazing. Almost too good...you can hear some guys near the sbd talking through a lot of the show.
are you sure? try this:

It looks outstanding. I will definitely make a set for myself and one for my brother as a gift. Thanks so much, I'm looking forward to the rest.
You should really send a set to the band and the Riv too. I'm sure they would cherish it.
Many Thanks.
I don't know how to send a set to the band or the Riv...
Wilco (the theory)

I think that, if the theory is right, Wilco The Song must be the last song on this album, not the first!
