Bashing Tweedy is the new loving Tweedy.

I personally like the acoustic version.
It's like when you distill alcohol until it's potent enough to catch fire. The electric mixed version might be a little bit harder to swallow, but the straight up shot just ruins you in the best way possible.

Thanks guys. I was trying to drink some goddamned raspberry lemonade when I read that.
Now it's everywhere and my girlfriend thinks I'm an idiot for ruining my computer.

\No man, then we'd have no demos to look forward too later and talk about hereDead on.
Also, does anyone else think that's a terrible picture of Jeff? He's not an unattractive man at all (as far as I can tell, having rather limited experience in judging them,) but that photo makes him look like someone who's downed a bottle of caffine pills after being awake for a week. If they wanted a nice picture, they should've given someone of the people on here a call.

Hey everyone,
I'm the music editor at my school paper, and next week I'm writing a peice on the band, specifically how they're unique in the sense that they allow the fans and the audience essentially a complete and total look at the creative process they undertake when making music.
I've already cited both movies and both books, but I was wondering if anyone had any wicked-ass suggestions or otherwise advice so I can make this as badass as possible.
Also, I know there's a plethora of photos available online and at Wilco base, but would anyone with some really cool hi-res shots mind if I ran some alongside the article? You'll recieve full credit and everything, and I'll post a copy of the page up here as soon as it's completed so everyone can see what it looks like.
Thanks everyone!

I love how everyone's choices are so different. It's fantastic.
AM: I Must Be High / That's Not The Issue
BT: Misunderstood / Forget the Flowers
Outta Print, Outta Site: Blasting Fonda / We've Been Held
MA1: California Stars (I know, shut up.) / Way Over Yonder
Summerteeth: Via Chicago / Candyfloss
MA2: Airline To Heaven / All You Facists (I don't know why, it just irks me.)
YHF: Jesus Etc / I'm The Man Who Loves You
More Like The Moon: Bob Dylan / Camera
AGIB: Theologians / I'm A Wheel
Wilco Book: The High Heat / Hummingbird (though I love the AGIB version...)
Kicking Television: Radio Cure / Kicking Television

Yeah, I'd say I like the YHF demos plenty. I haven't had the benifit of hearing the ST demos just yet, but I'd like to get my hands on them.
I also think that's really interesting about Being There, I'd never heard that before-- personally, I could never do that. Not only do I have this obsession with multiple arrangements and versions of songs, I'm also compulsive the way I collect things and rarely ever get rid of them. I've got recordings and documents from years ago I don't delete, despite how much I'm embarassed of them now.

Hey,
That is absolutely the exact one I was looking for.
Thanks so much!

Hey everyone,
I've been lurking around here for awhile, and it's time that I finally said hello.
Hello!
Now that that's out of the way, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with something that's been bugging me for a few weeks. I was looking for the version of IATTBYH the opening title sequence of the documentary that's just Jeff solo. Does anyone know where I can find this?
Thanks!
PS: From now on, just so I know, is there a way to differentiate between the movie and the song? I understand this probably won't come up other than in this exact context, but even still...

Hey everyone,
I'm finishing up the article as we speak. Most of what people suggested to avoid talking about, I wasn't especially planning on covering anyway-- it's a relatively short peice so I've got to squeeze as much in as possible.
If I have a chance, I'll post it here for tremendous scrutiny before it goes to print. While that really isn't a typical part of the formal editing process, I'd say people here are more than qualified than the 17 year old we pay for fact checking.
Thanks for all your help!
