I think you're right, that makes sense.  Give Back the Key to my Heart has been in the encores a few times in recent shows.  Must have put it there with a questionmark knowing maybe it was one to cut if running out of time. 

The setlist lists the solo part of the show just as "Solo Excellence" which I get a kick out of. 

The printed setlist included a couple encore songs not actually played: Jesus Wept, and Key ?

I know Jesus Wept is a Mavis song that they have had on the printed setlist a few times this tour and end up not playing. But what's "Key ?"

They've been pretty prompt for the past few shows -- 8p opener, done around 8:30, Jeff and band on right around 9p and done right around 11p. 

Loved the show.

Really did not like the "You and I" woman sitting a couple rows away from us up front. Her enthusiasm seemed well intentioned but was really annoying, beyond her forceful insertion into the duet parts on You & I. Though that took the cake.   Generally the crowd felt a little quiet and this made that woman stand out to me even more. 

The fully acoustic Acuff Rose was beautiful as always.

And I am really enjoying the Mavis Staples / Tweedy song -- Only the Lord Knows.  There is so much energy when they play that song.

I prefer Jesus Etc just solo - their harmonies are getting in the way for me.

Looks right. Taco Joint food vendor says it's cancelled (Twitter) and a couple comments on Taste's FB page too.

I'm bummed - came in from the East Coast for this...

A couple of us on the board got tickets during the presale yesterday. Did you get tickets? It does seem bizarre that it's not listed anymore. (It still appears in the list under the "shows" tab, but no longer on the opening page). Not sure what that means.

I was on an airplane with no WIFI so missed the presale... landed and noticed the date wasn't on the splash page anymore.  I tried the venue's ticket link this morning but so far is saying not yet onsale (despite a previously reported 10a onsale time).  I suppose I should/will call the venue and see if they know anything. 

Anyone else wondering about the Portsmouth NH date?  It was in yesterday's email list (7/25, Portsmouth Music Hall) and briefly up on the Wilco website, but now gone.  It is still listed on the venue website. 

Airline to Heaven was supposed to start the second encore, but was scratched. The techs had set up for it and then reorganized the instruments for Late Greats.

No luck here. Any winners today?
