For anyone interesed, it went in just fine. Haven't used it exstensively yet, but it seems really solid.

Three big things lately:

1. Ceiling fans (they never seem to be attached too securely, could fall at any minute)

2. Cars (parked or unparked)

3. Late night storms (lightning could strike a tree while I sleep, sending it through my roof. Cat could escape through resulting hole)

I actually started counseling a few weeks ago, turns out I have what is probably a generalized anxiety disorder. I've got a psychiatrist appointment in a few days, and I'm a little worried about that too...the counseler reccomended that I get some sort of medication for short-term treatment, but I'm a bit scared about coming off of it. Not to threadjack, but any experiance with coming off anxiety medicine?

I got a chance to go see Animal Collective next month, wondering how their live act plays out to be. It's only about an hour away and fifteen bucks, so I figure as long as it's something like their albums, well worth the time and money. Anyone seen them?

Okay so, I've got a Yamaha acoustic (FG730) that I enjoy a lot, except...it doesn't have a strap button on the heel, and I hate having the strap on the headstock. Just doesn't feel right to me, I'm not as comfortable playing like that. Anyone know if Yamaha uses bolted on necks, or are they glued? I'd like to install another strap button (maybe even strap locks) on there, but I'm kind of nervous about drilling the heel. It's not a really nice guitar or anything but I'm kind of attached to it (or I will be, once I get the strap on there as I like it). Thanks!
