  1. Really into that era at the moment, specifically 1999-2000. That really seemed like the last tour where Jeff and Jay were getting along and were having fun playing together.

The mid-September, 2000 run is one of my favorite stretches. On the heels of Mermaid Ave. 2, the setlists were great ("Feed of Man!") and the performances were off the charts.

  2. I have 3 of the Roadcase shows: 6-23 Redrocks, 7-25 NYC and 7-18 Wolftrap, Vienna. Also have non-Roadcase versions of 9-22 Berkeley and 7-8 Geneva. All good, wouldn't knock any of them, but if you were asking which *1* to buy of the ones I have, I'd say Wolftrap, Vienna stands out above the rest.

Thanks, world. This is exactly the reason for my post; on the surface, the Vienna setlists falls into the "pretty good" category for me, so it's probably one I wouldn't have thought much about without digging a little deeper.

  3. Hey guys, I'm finally going to make the plunge and pick a couple of these up as we hit the home stretch of 2012.

Based on setlists alone, I'm partial to:

    1. Brooklyn Night 2 (7/24/12)

    2. New York, NY (7/25/12)

    3. Red Rocks (6/23/12)

    4. Columbia, MO (9/16/12)

    5. Vienna, VA (7/18/12)

From the 8 I haven't listed, any recommendations based on quality of show/energy/etc. The Berkeley shows look strong, but can't decide between the 2. Any opinions and thoughts would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

  4. For those of you who want to follow the show while staying dry, i'll again be live-tweeting the underwater show tonight from @subtle_sounds. Part of me is looking forward to another Rain-infused Wilco show, a la the first night of Solid Sound this year which was a heck of a lot of fun. It could get pretty miserable out there though...

JAK -- thanks for tweeting updates during the show. I'm also in the boat of having tickets for this but deciding to dodge it . . . Traveling from central CT, and the idea of being a soaking mess on the Metro North train ride home at one in the morning sealed the deal. Maybe if I was 22 . . . dad rock indeed.

  5. okay, i got the four new roadcase shows uploaded, finally.

everything's in CBR 256kbps mp3, and should be correctly tagged and all that jazz.

they're all available in my mediafire folder, here, along with four of the older roadcase shows, in case you don't already have those.

I know this is a pretty long delay: but many thanks for organizing this. I was bummed to see that the last December's D.C. solo show was no longer available -- thanks for capturing it.

  6. For Tarrytown, grabbed Orch Left, up front. But only 1 seat . . . wouldn't let me pick 2 tix as an option. Maybe I missed a "one-ticket limit" (?).

Sorry if this posted somewhere else -- but I'm assuming the Bowery show is GA. No assigned seating, correct?
