What is the exact timeline of the Jeff, Glenn, Leroy And John era. Does anyone have any cool shows from this time in Wilco's history

Consider yourselves lucky if you live in or around Chicago. I just ordered my Houston tickets but they're not playing until march. It's a three hour drive but well worth it. I would love to see them at the Riv, but work, kids, life, you know.

Great list. That's what I'm talking about. I'll burn it and see how it flows.

What is this sampler that you speak of?

It could be two I suppose. I've struggled with that in the past. I'll start my list and end up with enough songs to fill four cd's. All the songs seem essential. That's
why it's so hard.

I'm talking about a stranded on an island and only have one Wilco cd type mix.

Welcome!
I find live shows to be the best -- pre-mixed is one way to think of them
"shaken, not stirred"
I love the live shows as well. The Owl and the Bear is a godsend. I'm asking for an external hard drive for christmas.

Greetings everyone. I have been lurking around this sight for some time but I have never posted anything. Since I now find myself reading it several times a day I figured I might as well get my feet wet. I'll admit to being a little intimidated. I've seen many newbies run through the ringer, but what the heck, I don't think it's possible for Wilco fans to be truly mean spirited. So..... I'm a long time Wilco fan. I picked up a copy of Being There when it first came out and have been hooked ever since. Fortunately for me Wilco also happens to be my wife's favorite band. Normally we'll just throw in any one of the albums and listen straight through but sometimes we like a mix. My question to you good people is, what is the perfect Wilco mix? Sometimes my mixes are one cd and sometimes they're two. More often than not they start with At Least That's You Said and end with Via Chicago. I've never been quite able to achieve mix bliss. Anyway, there may already be a thread about this but I have not seen it and I thought it might be fun to try some other people's ideas of what the perfect mix would be. My wife just thinks I'm a dork.
Somebody give me something new to buy
