Can anyone suggest some Bergman to someone who's never seen one of his film's before? Or offer a short description of what he's like?

Roland Barthes - The Pleasure of the Text
And a book compiled of Jean Baudrillard quotes.
Both of these books give me a hard on just thinking about them. Post what you think after you're finished, I'm interested to hear.

which wilco songs contain the most emotional value to you?
for me its IATTBYH, poor places, and ALTWYS. especially live when jeffs guitar comes in and the crowd cheers, i get goosebumps. and obviously the solo contains a ton of emotion.
anyways, discuss
theologians was one of the factors that helped me changed my position on religion in my life.

Gahhhh, I can't stand Owen Wilson. The only reason he's famous is because of his crooked nose. He's a horrible actor, in my opinion.

Oooh, I love Jane Eyre.
I've always meant to read some Flannery O'Connor, but never managed to get to it. Any suggestions for a starting point?
Oh, and welcome to VC!
She's a short story author from the 40s. If you're into Faulkner, you'd really enjoy her stuff. Pick up the collection called "A Good Man Is Hard to Find," and read "The Artificial Nigger" (anti-racism piece, no worries). Sufjan Stevens and Tom Waits have each paid tributes to her via song titles, so just don't take my word for it.
Thank you!

> Summerteeth: Violin solo during "She's a Jar."
violin, or the 6 harmonica notes?
The part right after "like a question unposed"

I'm reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.
God bless your soul. I hope you enjoyed it more than I did, it almost drove me to suicide.
Right now I'm reading "Everything Rises Must Converge" by Flannery O'Connor. Anyone else a fan?

Long time lurker, first post. Hi guys
AM: Box Full of Letters
Being There: The coda at the end of "I got you (at the end of the century)"
Summerteeth: Violin solo during "She's a Jar." It's really simple, but it really moves me.
YHF: Reservations, the version during "IATTBYH" doucmentary, the cello solo. So beautiful. Does a full version of that exist?
AGIB: hard choice between ALTWYS and Muzzle of Bees, but if I had to choose, I'd pick the former.
Kicking Television: Hell is Chrome
Sky Blue Sky: Tough choice between Walken and You are my face...I can't decide.
