  1. Uhh... thanks for taking what I said out of context and adding your own interpretation of what was not even there. You do realize that "You can thank the fine folks at Ticketmaster (& their collusion w/ the ticket brokers) for that debacle." & "The problem lies with Ticketmaster and their agreements with 3rd party agents" are the same conclusions, no? I pointed out the only mechanism that I have knowledge of that has offered a solution to our shared conclusion of the problem. Got anything else absolute to offer?
  2. From the venue? If so, maybe there is some type of season ticket holder agreement in place in which turn-backs are available the day of show. This is where the Arkansas Symphony plays...
  3. Not held back - but the big national ticket brokers got lots of the choice seats up front as usual (which did not sell well at their absurd prices, especially considering the overall demand). There are a pair of front row seats available on Ebay at this very moment (one would think they might want to discount those at this point). I enjoy the fact that they had to eat a large number of the tickets, but it won't change things. I would like to see Wilco go the Pearl Jam route, in which fan club members get all the best seats (based upon seniority within the club), but I guess it's a bit late
  4. I'm in agreement with most of what has been said above. It was as though you had pockets of people mixed throughout the floor that are accustomed to sitting in the upper deck at Alltel (local arena) & fading into the darkness until their favorite two songs are played. Having said that, it didn't seem to have any negative impact on the band whatsoever & that's all that really matters in the end. I know me & my seat mates (super cool young couple from Kansas City) pogo'd our asses off & certainly didn't let it bring us down. I thought the band was tighter than ever & real
