  1. In case anybody here is interested, I was posting the setlist as it happened last night on Twitter, along with some pics & it turned out to be a pretty fun thing to do with those playing along at home, so I figure I'll do it again tonight.  So if any of you are interested in following along, my Twitter handle is @bryontreece. Although, I'm probably bound to get stumped by some rarities, so take it easy on me if I screw up! I'm sure this final show of the run is going to be a doozy!!

  2. I'll be at the show tonight Wed. 10/29 if you want to meet up there, otherwise we would have to meet up near Port Jefferson on Long Island sometime today or tomorrow.  I have two GA floors available for Thursday night.  Total after fees is $160.19, but I'm just looking for $60.00 each to make it an even $120.00.  Either reply here or my email address is bryontreece at gmail dot com.  Drop me a note & we'll work it out.  Thanks.

  3. I'm pretty sure that's not how this works. The studio audience for the taping of the actual Late Show will be completely gone before the Wilco show. Letterman tapes his show, I believe, around 4:30 or so. The place will be cleared out & after that it will be ALL Wilco fans entering the theatre @ 7:30pm for Wilco's 8:00pm show.

  4. I have to drive into the city tonight for the Letterman gig. In consideration of all of these traffic issues due to the UN business, if I'm coming in from Queens, do you think it would be best to avoid the LIE/Midtown Tunnel, & take Queens Blvd. to the 59th St. bridge, or just go tunnel?? ANy sage advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  5. Really? A whole set! I got an email last week that I won tickets, I thought I was just going to see Letterman and see them play one song, this is awesome news! Now I feel even more lucky. Anyone else get lucky?

Yes! I am one of the Twitter Haiku contest winners!! This is gonna be special. I believe the Ed Sullivan Theatre's capacity is only 400. It's my wife's b-day that day too, and needless to say, she is a huge Wilco fan as well. Can't wait!!

  6. Any Amex pre-sale I've done (regardless of the venue size) asks for a password, which is always the customer service phone number on the back of your Amex card. So if they ask for a password, give that a try.

    Ahhh...good to know!

  7. the passwords are usually for bigger sales when they have amex gold involved....then it is the first 6 numbers of your amex is the presale code...I only had to enter the code when I was buying shows for MSG

    Thanks for the tip!

  8. I don't think there is one..just got to use your amex

Thanks. I've never done an AMEX presale before, but I've heard that you do have to put in a password, but then you can actually use any credit card to complete the purchase once you're in. We'll soon see....

  9. I was on @ 9:50am to try for 2 NYC tickets. Got thrown into the waiting room & by the time I got out of it, no more tickets available. I'll try for the 12:00pm Amex pre-sale. Anybody know what the pasword is??

  10. Why all this Jersey hating? From a life-long Jersey girl of German/Swedish descent raised in the wooded hills of Northern NJ where we had more bears than gangsters. A girl with with flat hair, a natural tan, and real boobs.

As Triumph the Insult Comic Dog says, "I Keeeed!" (that's "kid", as in "joke", if it's not apparent.)

Last night was amazing, but tonight was even more so in my opinion. We were lucky enough to be about 15-20ft. from stage, pretty much dead center. Must sleep now. More later. I love these guys!!
