  1. Well that was my first Wilco gig and they were as wonderful as all the stories and bootlegs suggested. Just a magnificent live band, completely in tune with each other but still abrasive when its needed. Jeff was fantastic and the sound in Vicar Street just perfect. Highlights for me were a sublime Kidsmoke, a lairy and aggressive Walken, a spooky Radio Cure, a gorgeous and life-affirming California Stars and a brilliant, rockin' finale. I also loved Hate it Here, a song I'm not overly fussed about on the album but live it sounds just the right side of unhinged. And Jeff's comment about the
  2. Last time I was at Vicar Street was in 2000 for the mighty Cathal Coughlan, and while the gig was sublime the venue was bloody freezing, so I'm gonna wrap up warm for this one!

  4. I'm heading to the gig on my own as none of my mates or my girlfriend like Wilco so I wanna head straight in to see them and avoid any support. If they play a setlist like the one listed from last week's gig then I'll be in heaven, though I'd love to hear At Least That's What You Said and Hell is Chrome.
  5. I'm heading down to Dublin from Belfast for the Wednesday show. I only got into Wilco this year and this will be the first time I've ever seen them. Really, really, really looking forward to it. Anyone know when the band will be on stage?
