Still buzzing from this show. So good to meet/see some of you again! Great memories to take away from this show from lady bugs, snakes, poses, ponytail man etc. What a great crowd we were with - nice to share the vibes with you all!
Misunderstood was bad ass with the crowd chanting nothings so fierce, BBN was manic. And the debut of Everlasting Everything was just a gorgeous tune in a gorgeous place. This show will forever be etched in my memory. Thanks to the guys for all they give to so many of us.
Will post some pics soon.

Just posted this in another thread, but wanted to add it here too...
We have 2 stations here that play lots of Wilco.
Wilco (the album) is the cd of the week on 89.7 WTMD. On the drive in to work yesterday, You and I followed by Solitaire was played. And today, got to hear You Never Know. Nice way to start out the day!

Edit: One more to add...One Wing was played before Patterson Hood and The Screwtopians took to the stage in DC!

This is very upsetting. I am so very grateful to have the music to keep as a tribute.
Our sympathies go out to family and friends.

PS.... It is funny how a long enough leak eventually turns into a stream
I might have to use this as a signature quote. Good one!

Here's to you! Happy Birthday!

Put me down for the Louisville show. Anyone around here wanna meet up for that one?
Hey Greg,
If you happen to make it back east, we are in for the D.C. show.

Does anyone have suggestions for 4th of July festivities going on in the nearby towns? Can't imagine a prettier place to take in some fireworks with the Rockies as a backdrop.
Looking forward to another holiday weekend there. Last time it was over Labor Day weekend for the couple of shows at The Fillmore. Wonderful times!
Thanks!

do you think we'll ever get live streaming video at one of these things? too expensive, i guess. plus, would it just be one camera on lockdown the whole time? i mean, i'd be fine with that, but still...just curious.
They did it for Lollapalooza.

Hi guys! This is getting us so hyped for a fun ass weekend!
-
We'll be there!
This message from The Disc Exchange site: "Starting at 2:00 we will be screening the Wilco DVD - Ashes of American Flags complete with prize pack give aways!!"
Sounds like we may have to get festivities started in the afternoon!

Sorry to chime in a little late here, but we took in this show too. We wanted to make a day of it and see most of the performances, but ended up getting there just for the ticketed show. It was nice to be able to see Glenn in this element and hear his work live. Glad he added Monkey Chant to open.
Bang on a Can's contribution to Glenn's composition of Snap and Mobile were pretty cool to hear as well.
Terry Riley was pretty far out, but talking to some folks after the show apparently this performance was different than most of his other work.
A fun night all in all.

Very happy to see this will be playing at the Filmfest in DC! Just ordered advance tickets and looking forward to seeing it in the theater. more info here

Paid $35 a piece for the tickets. They are great seats!

There seemed to be lots of problems with the presale. I was able to call and get through directly to the venue for Philly. Don't give up just yet - you may want to give it another try - looks like it may be working online now.
