I certainly hope this site's not dead because I prefer it over the social media groups. I was completely taken by surprise when I saw the announcement the other night. My little group of Solid Sounders lost the great house we had in 2019, but I understand that we procured lodging in Williamstown. I'm just excited that it's one month closer than I expected.

Well said! By the way there’s a great downtown breakfast place right on the little downtown bridge. Fine lunch, dinner, and service. Stayed in Williamstown 2 Solids ago. Oh wait that’s Wilmington VT. Never mind…..

How was Billy K show, dagwave?

It was lovely and lively. Enjoyed w/ daughter- great vibe, super playing, great TEMPO.

A lot of energy and smiles on stage. James Casey sang lead on one of 2 JGB songs. Saxophone and keyboards really filled the sound. Fine playing - hope a tour after respective summer commitments.

  3. Can’t Wait!
There were off site daily morning excursions/ tours subject to “reservations” and additional fees plus an event for Positive Legacy doing environmental clean up with Jeff. Should be announced later I’m thinking.

Many non- alcoholic offerings from very skilled bartending crews across the resort.  Also saw a sign for recovery meetings on resort- Hard Rock should have info.

Pumped (more pumped) to see Ms. Mavis added to the fun!!!

  4. Ditto!

Dang it, it seems I have too many friends with fear of commitment (for now....). Looks like I might be booking a room this week and finding a roomie later!

    DITTO (gulp).

  5. This will be the most important music-related thing I will see this year, hands down. So much of my life was/is tied up with Jay's music.

At my daughter's Sweet 16 party we had a PA and I did a solo set and her brother did a set with his band, the Semi Legendary "Who Ya Burn".  :stunned . Anyway...I did "My Darling" and my whole family (including my mom and dad) were in tears. Hell, so was I! She was 'growing up too fast' - following my example haha - but I'm proud to say she's now a 29 year happily married mom, with the light of all of our lives being my grandson, Desmond Otto Rodriguez - aka "Crazy Otto".  :love

Thanks, Jay. You had a gift and a style that sucked me right in.

    Bee-utiful.

  6. Berman and Hunter (sigh)  agreed, though I bet they might be sardonically pleased in a way with the omission.

gotta admit, Grammys are appointment television for me every year- love the (over) production, the train wrecks (looking at you this year Aerosmith, karmas a sweet emotion), the fashion, collabs..haha all of the peacock pageantry.  and Alicia Keys once again, wow.

An aside: my daughter and friend busted their asses to get to the Anthem (in Washington) this past fall to see Billie. I gave her permission to call off from her job at the pizza shop. “Just tell them the truth”, I lied. First time she missed a shift. I’m thinking she made the right choice.

  7. Thank you so much for the excellent review and phenomenal shots, Tim. After a long Monday (not to mention last Thu/Fri) back in the trenches, your review really makes my day. And the additional photos at the end of the article are not to be missed. Most excellent!

  8. Sooooo

YLT soundcheck on main stage. Maybe 35-45 minutes staring with “”don’t cry no tears” by Neil Young. Autumn Sweater, too and much more. I asked Ira prior to “set” if I could take a few pics- he said yes, no video please, and said I was courteous for being a Philly fan (Phillies hat). There are exceptions to every rule- I responded and now I can stop going g to therapy.
