  1. The Euro leftists have had a long fascination with anarchy. Nothing like a bunch of spoiled, rich kids marching in the street to get my sense of irony and loathing for the spawn of the middle class in full force.

You have the power to say all that I wish to say just a minute before... :shifty

    The Euro leftists...

  2. As a child, I would (secretly and seriously) rank a house’s desirability according to its ability to keep one safe in the face of a full on zombie attack. Low lying windows and/or lots of glass and no basement, no way, elevated windows set in a brick or otherwise sturdy looking structure with lots of, but not too many defendable exits in a rather remote location, away from cemeteries and/or hospitals, yes.

Nice to hear about another George A. Romero victim :unsure

  3. Really sorry to hear about it,and in some many ways happy for you and your family, because I think every one of this amazing dogs are made for God to bless us.

As I´ve told you, my Rita had surgery yesterday for a liver biopsy. Our vet decide to extract her spleen, where she had a big tumour. She´s recovering very well (more or less, she´s 12 years old)

We´re all expecting not to hear "cancer",but we´re trying to be strong and give her the best in the next future.

Anyways,I´m still sad for my Loiro, who left us two years ago,so...

The smile of God,that´s the name I have for their open mouths...the one from Loiro, and Bella, and Rita, and Curly, and Noodle, and our little Nana...

    Kisses and tears.

Thinking back on all the great people I've met over the past decade because of this band, from New York to the North Sea, makes me realize how fortunate I am (and have been).

I´m very proud of being one of those,we are the fortunate to met you,P.Hope to see you soon, with or without Wilco.

  6. OK,guys,we´re at home and my strong little princess came back to the school yesterday, plenty of health with a big smile, and very happy to show her red eye to her classmates (she looks like a vampire, haha, and she´s very proud about).

Everything was perfect, and the doctors were surprised with Carmen:no cry,no complaints, really an amazing little girl.

Again, thank you all,me and my family can feel all your vibes and prayers from Chicago,Australia,NJ or Germany...you´re not only the best fans in the world, but an awesome group of friends!

    Much love from Spain,

    Bea :worship :worship :worship

  7. My daughter is having surgery for her strabismus next Monday.

We are in the hands of the best ophtalmologist, specialized in children, and she´s a strong little girl, and surgery is not very difficult,and...she´s 10 years old and I´m a terrified mommy.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions, experiences, vibes and prayers :hmm

  8. I purchased a Friend of the Festival pass which was so worth the price --spent most of the day under a tent with fans, two free sandwiches and water, soda and juice. Best part -- access to the nicer port a johns. BTW -- met Jeff by port a johns waiting for Jason - snapped a nice picture. The best best part was that I got seating on stage, so did not have to staked out seats earlier in the day. Festivals are not really my thing, so this was the way to go. Lots of hippies and lost of men in skirts. They probably called them "Kilts" but there were no bagpipes and this ain't Scotland -- yeah, I'm pretty square.

Also -- anyone in the crowd with Jeff after the show? It was a little tense, and this one lady from the festival yelled at me -- it was quite the verbal spanking. I was just stadning there getting squashed. The Jeff -- who was pretty calm and funny -- said, "That's alright. I drive them wild."

Could not get any photos fronm the stage, but here's the picture Jason took of Jeff and me. Sigh -- puts me in a good mood as I head back to work tomorrow after my Wilco fests. :wub

(Jeff also took a picture of Jason and me -- but it did not turn out.)

Time to change your avatar, you two look better now! :thumbup
