and jeff wears enormous white clown shoes that makes me stare at his feet and his foot taps. the only thing that would be worse would be enormous white crocs.

That would be the reason for the new policy about pics ,maybe JT don´t want us to see his new shoes.

(I have enormous white crocs and I use them in the summer:oh well,I´m pharmacist,and kids think my crocs are funny )

I meet Jeff before a solo show accidentally.My husband and I went to take a look to the venue (a kind of theater) and he´s leaving the place after a rehearsal.

Encouraged by my husband with a sweet:

"Honey,after carry ME 900 Km to see HIM,if you don´t take your pic with HIM,I´llkill YOU"

I call "Jeff",he stopped and was really kind.

I remember to see him come back to the hotel with his hands in the jeans,exactly like on the b/w images of the IATTBYH DVD

I just think they are being too drastic about the photo deal. I think in a lot of ways, it has nothing to do with the band. It is just a cultural phenomenon. There are devices that make it possible for people to record everything they do, so that is what they do.

 

I have never totally understood the no video rule, and neither have a lot of people. So I just think a no photo rule will be just another hassle to deal with.

 

That´s exactly my point of view.I think A-Man is right,yesterday I found very drastic the new policy.

That could be the "brand" idea someone talk about.

I can understand the band: people,sometimes isn´t very respectful with them,but in Spanish we use to say "No se pueden poner puertas al mar"

The band sounded great, and I think they impressed many of the first-timers. For example, the young boy (maybe all of 17 or 18 years old) in front of me remarked to his friend after "Impossible Germany" that he thought it was "the most beautiful song ever." I can't say I disagree with him.

 

 

I thought exactly the same when I heard it first time (my first Wilco experience,SBS DVD and my husband saying "You MUST listen that, right now" in an unforgettable summer night)

These shows have become a great tradition over the past few years, so it's great to see them happening again. Last year's shows were among my favorite shows of the year and the money goes to some great causes, so everybody should try to make it to one or both!
