  1. Honestly, I felt like I was at a greatest hits show. I was pretty disappointed in the setlist. The highlight of the show for me was misunderstood. Besides it being a greatest hits show it also seemed short compared to some of the other setlists that I've seen for this tour. Don't get me wrong I still had a good time and the band sounded really tight.

Does anyone else agree with me on the lameness of the set list last night?

  2. Via Chicago was an awesome opener. I was surprised how good the sound was. I haven't been to an arena show in like 15 years so I was expecting the worst. Wilco's sound was really good. The set was really short though. I know they were one of the openers, but I was definitely left jonesin for more Wilco.

Then Neil came out and just totally blew the doors off the place. Highlight of the show for me was Cortez the Killer. It's amazing what Neil and His band can do with a 3 chord song. Rocked.

And just a final note, The first band Everest were pretty good. I've checked out their album before so I was familiar with some of the material. I predict this is a band that is going to have a future, but they looked dwarf sized compared to Wilco and Neil.

  3. Oh man that show was sweet. The venue and the relaxed security was awesome. You could stand around anywhere. I think after the first few songs anyone could have walked right into that concert. They weren't even checking to see if people coming back from the bathroom/bar area had tickets.

I'd say that "Wishful Thinking" was the highlight for me. The first half seemed a lot more out there than when I've seen them before. Alot of like sonic/noise/space....which was awesome.

Any word on a taper recording?
