Anyone know anything about the cover photo? Looks like WW2 (Tunisia?) or possibly Korea? The rifle looks strange - photoshopped as dropped from the hand?
This is one of a series of photographs Capa took during World War II as Allied forces opened a front in Tunisia in an effort to liberate Italy from Fascism.

Someone on the Tweedy show just posted the new record is out digitally at the end of the month. They said the info was posted on WilcoWorld, but I don't see anything.

Seems least likely, but I want it to be the new Loose Fur album so hard.
My only shred of hope is that Jeff said in an interview last year(?) that it wasn't done yet because he was behind on his part of it. So maybe it just needed some vocals or dubs?
He said in the same interview that Loose Fur is all about him, Glen, and Jim being in the same room, which doesn't bode well for a release any time soon if they aren't done recording.
I remember Jeff saying it's finished and sitting on Jim's desk waiting to be mixed and mastered.

I feel like I read a comment pre-OTJ from Jeff about how there were already plans for the follow up but I've tried to dig that up and couldn't find it, so it's entirely possible I just imagined that.
Didn't Jeff talk about a power pop album they had just about finished?
