  1. This was my fifth time to see the band; the last time being one of the Wiltern shows in November 2004 and at Coachella a few months later. I think they're even tighter and accomplished as a band right now, which I did not think was possible. The night before, I was at the Crowded House show, and while it's apples and oranges, the higher level of musicianship was really apparent to me. I cannot think of a band that is just so capable of blowing people away with that "wow" factor than the current Wilco lineup. Pot Kettle Black was the highlight of the show for me last night.   2. I have a listening copy! Wilco fan since AM and before that UT. I play in a cover band and our drummer works at an independent record store and snagged me the store's preview copy so I have it six weeks early in all its glory. I don't suppose I have anything unique to say that's different from what has been said already and I really admire the musical depth demonstrated on this board. In short, it's a beautiful, gentle record but it's not going to be my favorite Wilco album. My first impression listening through now a couple of times it is that it is an album by committee.
