    A Cherry Ghost
  1. Probably. I've seen other acts the first night of a tour and for bands that change their setlists every night, the first shows sometimes end up being the shortest and worst, in my opinion.
  2. Don't be..I don't think you are the only one who had a great time..I had a great time as well..and am very happy that I went...I felt the music go through me and everything sounded so good. Seeing Wilco for the first time was a treat and I thought the band was solid. I'm a new fan and don't know their entire catalog and even heard some songs for the first time last night and loved every second of the show. With that said, it is hard to not notice certain things like the overall crowd not being too into it and some of the other things people have noticed. Doesn't mean that we didn't have a
  3. I was in the rear orchestra so I had a view of most of the crowd. I kept thinking to myself throughout the show that it was like the majority of the crowd didn't want to be there. There was just no energy and no connection between the band and the audience. It also seemed like there was a mass exodus during One Wing. I do hope they come back to Dallas as I would love to see the band again. I'm a relatively new Wilco fan so it was nice to hear some older songs that were new to me. Overall, I'd have to still say it was a good show as it left me wanting more after my first Wilco concert
  4. I had a good time too..and will definitely see Wilco again...thought they were great. Just thought the crowd was off for the first half..it got better as the show went IMO.
  5. I've been to almost 100 concerts, but this was my first Wilco show. Overall, I enjoyed it but yeah it was one of the weirdest crowds I have ever seen. They couldn't decide whether to sit or stand? It was just bizarre! Of course you stand! Whole sections would stand when a song would start and then sit a few seconds into it..just weird. I was looking at previous Dallas setlists and saw that the 07 and 09 shows at the palladium had a lot more songs on the setlist. Is there any reason why they are playing shorter shows now? I was pretty disappointed about the under 2 hour playing time.
  6. Is anyone taking the green line to get to the music hall? I have a free DART pass for work and the Fair Park station is right in front of the music hall. Then again, I question how safe leaving and riding the DART after the show would be.
  7. My wife isn't able to make this show after all so I have one extra ticket in Orchestra Section E Row EE. I'm selling the ticket for face, but would consider going lower as I would hate for it to go to waste.
  8. Thanks, but i was able to find a pair. Really appreciate your response though.
  9. I'm looking for one ticket for the Dallas show - preferably an Orchestra seat. If anyone can help me out it would really be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Daniel
