  1. I'm trying to track down Nate Duval's Wilco prints from Forecastle 2012 (Derby Theme) and the England tour '07 (flowers). If anyone has one that they're willing to part with, I'm lookin!
  2. I just got mine in the mail. I have moved recently and cannot go. Who wants em? Best Offer... edit: after just poking around the internet, I am setting the price at 85$ each.
  3. I'm moving, so I have to throw away all the tickets I had for the summer. The Louisville ticket is Row E, seat 313. It's will call. I am going to see if I can transfer the ticket, and if so I will sell it to someone for cheap. cost me 57$, I'll probably let go of it for half that if I can get rid of it. Solid Sound tickets are Early Bird pricing. I won't get the tickets until May, but they will be 130$ per ticket, shipped. Also, if there is any interest, I have GREAT tickets to MMJ in Chicago, all 3 nights. As well as Columbus, OH, both nights. (all tickets are GA pit or front row. so
  4. I'm on that side too. I don't know if I've ever been on that side. I'm also planning on going to Cincy, but I'm probably going to take my parents, so I will probably opt for something a little further. Maybe something on the balcony if the venue has a balcony
  5. Averts sell more tickets, I would guess.
  6. I totally forgot about the presale, but still just somehow pulled 5th row for Iroquois. 2 hours late, so I'm happy.
  7. What Mizzy said. I am bummed to hear that MMJ rumor was false, but I will be stoked no matter who plays, as long as Wilco is there.
  8. Well look at that. I'll definitely be hitting a couple of these
  9. Sounds like that means the line up will be "bigger." MMJ rumor could be true. Sorry everyone, but I will be hyped.
  10. Last night at a Sturgill Simpson show, someone told me that Wilco booked a show at Iroquois Amphitheater here in Louisville, KY. Tweedy is playing Forecastle in July, so maybe it's a late summer tour? Anyways, just a rumor.
  11. I'm also wondering when the line up will be coming out. d. boony... I've never had Heady Topper. I hope to run into you.
  12. In 2013, I was given a ticket to Jim James solo debut show at Grimey's in Nashville. There was 100 people in the building, total (band, staff, audience, etc). Carl (MMJ guitarist) opened with a solo set. Jim James and his other band came out and played their album all the way through for the first time. The Encore is what mattered though. Carl came back out and they played a mini-MMJ set to ~80 fans in a room smaller than my apartment. Forecastle 2012 (in general, because MMJ and Wilco headlined), but mainly because MMJ were supposed to play a soundcheck show for Roll Call members, but it
  13. not my dream setlist either, by any stretch of the imagination. I just think it would fit into the SS atmosphere. If MMJ was at some point your favorite band, and you haven't seen them yet, then you will really really have your mind blown when you first see them. Wilco might have passed them as my favorite band also, but MMJ is still the best live band around. I'm actually choosing Solid Sound over One Big Holiday this year, so it would be majorly comforting for me if jacket is at SS. And yes, ISM is their best album.
  14. Can't wait until the rumor proves wrong and I steered this thread in this direction for nothing.
  15. I won't claim to be the most knowledgable about charities and/or booking shows, but I really don't think that its that easy. And I agree, I think the Tweedy shows are taking the charity show's places this year.
  16. all of this I agree with. It's the reason why I'm very skeptical about the rumor. Also, I don't want anyone on the line up that draws non-wilco fans to the fest. I mean, I'd be THRILLED to see them on the bill, but its certainly not why I'm going. to say again, I don't care who does/doesn't like MMJ. I don't think everyone needs to like them. I just get so damn excited about them when I talk about them that I get carried away. Especially since they're coming out of a very, very quiet year. I can't wait for them to re-emerge. I don't want to get too carried away and start a long thre
  17. I am always surprised to hear all the MMJ hate in the wilco community. Maybe its just because they're the two most important bands in my world. Different strokes, I guess... I know that MMJ is a lot louder. At one of the AmericanA shows I went to, Jeff actually made a joke about how Wilco would never be as loud as MMJ. That being said, MMJ is the best live act I've ever seen ( and I've now seen them over 50 times). MMJ is what basically started it all for me in the world of today's rock and roll, and if it wasn't for them I probably never would've found Wilco. *If* the rumor is true, I urg
  18. Every rumor I have heard about MMJ playing any festival so far has been correct (Gov Ball, Roo, Hangout). That being said I'm pretty sure MMJ will be playing SS15. Rumors are rumors so it's not definite until its announced, but it's something that's been going around. If they played I'd imagine they would headline Wilco's night off. I know that wont sit well with a lot of people around here, but if they play I'll be super excited.
  19. Hey. Some of you all probably know better than I do, but I thought the solo shows for his kid's schools was an annual thing. Last couple years the tickets have gone on sale in Dec, so I guess they aren't happening?
  20. Is there any precedents to when abouts the line up will come out?
  21. I don't want to get my hopes up, but it would really be my dream festival. I live in Louisville, so forecastle 2012 was close, but 2 nights of wilco as opposed to a dub step dj one night would definitely be a step in the right direction
  22. Yup that's me. Maybe I'll meet you at OBH or SS. I'm not 100% on OBH but trying to get a last minute room. I went last year, it's an amazing time. That rumor comes from a pal of mine who hasn't yet lied to me about these kinds of things.
  23. Honestly, I have no clue how the schedule will look. I just heard that they are going to have a major headliner. The scheduling was just my prediction. If they do have the headliner I've heard, I would think it would be Wilco two nights and the other on their off night. And Tweedy (the band) and/or Tweedy accoustic set would not close out whatever night they play. Personally I'm really excited about the rumors if they're true. I just assumed another headliner would mean 2 nights of Wilco and 1 night of my other favorite band. We shall see, I guess. I have heard nothing about SS other than
  24. I know its not really SS's style, but I heard they're going to have a major headliner that isn't Wilco one night. I guess Wilco usually plays 2 nights? I've never been to SS so I don't know much about it, but I thought it was usually obvious that Wilco was the biggest band on the bill significantly. If thats true, this year will be different.
