Any Aussies on here ????
-
for sure these are for super fans only... a lot of rare tracks including never before played tunes.. would love to hear speak to the rose now that they have played message from the mid bar.. alone should have been on alpha mike foxtrot.
-
No way to pick just one. I went to only one, but consider all 3 as "must haves." If for any reason you're only going to purchase just one, might as well spin the bottle on that decision and whichever comes up you'll be fine.
I figured this was the case lol

ok so usual question... didn't attend any of the port chester shows... which bootleg to buy first?
-
I've been digging on the ELT demo. I prefer this version over the Summerteeth version.
all the summerteeth demos are amazing.. she 's a jar is also superior. I think.. via Chicago while not bombastic also kills me.
-
I think a roadcase bootleg collection of the best collabs and performances from the AmericanaramA festival would be well received...
-
Fantastic video of Give Back the Key to My Heart. The same youtuber put this up--MMJ joined by Phosporescent on the Velvets' Oh Sweet Nuthin'
god they are so good.
-
loved the jacket's set especially oh sweet nuthin and waiting on a friend... I'm a huge fan of both bands but as much as MMJ rocked my world Wilco stole the show which is hard to do after MMJ believe me.
-
the seating numbers are unavilable for the camden show at this point but the XPN festival are selling cheap lawn seats for this show and three day passes to the festival plus americanarama festival so I think sunday will be a bigger crowd than most night on this tour.
-
for me this happens with all my favorite bands at some point or another.. my morning jacket, pearl jam, the beatles, neil young and wilco or go in a out of favor depending on what I feel like listening.. the bootlegs are a sure fire way to get wilco burnout
-
they tour a whole heap but yet they don't touch down in philly as much as other area's in the states : (
-
last night's show at the mann center was out of this world.. best band out there today.
-
Strange they'd leave those two tracks off. "Masterplan" is one of my favorites. Oh well...I'll probably get both -- particularly because the setlists are completely different both nights. Thanks everyone!
love masterplan was bummed when this wasn't included.. the recordings are good but could be better quality. the wilco boots are way better sound wise...
-
So...those of you who have snagged one or both of the Red Rocks recordings...how are they?
GOT BOTH.. they are awesome.. highly recommend them. they never disappoint
-
who is going friday? I'm pumped!!1
-
terminal 5 is the best sounding bootleg i have heard in awhile.
-
I enjoy TWL as an album more but SBS has either way and Impossible Germany on them.. so it's pretty square to me.
-
wasn't going to get any of the NY shows but already picked up terminal 5 and brooklyn 004 today
-
anyone been able to d/l the red rocks shows yet?

NPR is addinging tomorrow's Wilco triple bill show into it's Newport Folk Festival Webcast. Although the show isn't actually officially part of the Festival, which runs Friday & Saturday.
Wilco goes on at 7:30 on Friday July 27th, 2012.

In the photo wilco posted of them rehearsing they were playing Capitol City so...
art of almost. no?

I'm seeing MMJ and Band of Horses in August! I think these two bands are a wonderful match.
This will be my third August in a row seeing MMJ, which is saying a lot because my city seems to miss out on a lot of good tours. Apparently MMJ loves us.
I was about to go on and on about how much of love this band live, but then I realized my post from last year saying the same thing is still on this page. Let's just say that I can't wait until the big day comes along.
yes this will be the 3rd time in august in 3 years i have seen MMJ also.. great that they tour like crazy and realize they have a massive market in the philly area..
