hey,
does any kind soul out there have an mp3 of that song that Jeff plays in "I am Trying to Break your heart" called "Monkey Mess." I need to learn a bunch of kids songs and I thought that would be a fun one!
thanks!

I'm loving the new album. This is the exact bright eyes that I like and what I was hoping for. Where's Gillian Welch though? I read she's suppose to be on the album but I don't hear her...

Was listening to this song yesterday and I realized I didn't know who it's about. I thought maybe Johnny Cash (it might have been mentioned in Kot's book). anyone know?

what was the single from "A Ghost Is Born?" "YHF?"

yeah, I don't get what everyone loves about this band. Lyrically the songs seemed kind of interesting but I didn't really dig them musically. Also...with like a dozem people in the band, none of them can sing a harmony once and while? The best they could do was shout in unison...

I'll be the first to advocate bonnaroo. Sure, it's crowded and hot but it's a TON of fun. I went last year and I'll definitely be going again this year. It is tiring but, even with big crowds, it's easy to get up front for the tent shows. Most of the people are just casually checking bands out...they aren't fighting to be up front. there's just too much music for that. The big stage shows are harder to get up close but last year, I didn't want to see much that was happening there besides the headliners.
I'd definitely reccommend bringing some sort of soft pad or air mattress to put your sleeping bag on. You wanna make sure that the couple hours of sleep you get per night are comfortable. Also, it's nice to have lawn chairs at your camp site for when you're chillin or cooking or whatever. way better than sitting on the ground or standing.
also, the band's play pretty darn well when there's 5-8xs as many people watching...most of the best music I saw last year was at bonnaroo.

The show sounds great too! Theat venue was beautiful and pretty small too. Very easy to get up to the front.

aaand they didn't even put hell is chrome on there. that piano part is awesome!

Full band when they play it like the "Being There" version.

this source is sounding great. A bit better than that bt.viachicago one. The mics seem to be moving around a bit near the end of the show though.
-
awesome! Thanks!
the show was on the 16th.

yeah, I thought sunday's episode was one of the best. Ari at his best and Llyod was great too. When the show first started, I think they had trouble really defining the roles and personalities of the characters besides ari and E but now we're really getting some emotion from vince and the other guys.
I wonder where they'll go from here. It always looks like Vince isn't gonna get a movie then he does so, he'll probably end up either getting one of the two he's been up for because the actors scheduled get dropped or he'll take something even better that comes along all of a sudden.

"Square One" is on the Elizabethtown soundtrack. It's one of my fav songs on the disc. I'll look forward to hearing the rest of the album if they're all as good as that tune.

I read this book when it first came out. I liked it. A bunch of stuff I didn't know and I thought the most interesting stuff was the uncle tupelo, cicero's days. I'm sure it's all a bit dramatized but, to me that's better than a really boring book.

couldn't see pat but I could definitely hear his rhodes parts.
Pretty decent video. Glad to see tweedy play guitar on this. When I heard the album I was worried there was going to be a bunch of tunes where he just sang (a la "hummingbird").
