Sananguy, I couldn't agree more. More than aything I think my frustration is having to try a Wilco album "grow on me." For me, the past two albums have taken awhile to warm up to. After reading several posts in this discusion many people it seems have had to let the album "grow on them." I guess I am ready for a Wilco album to hook me right away. the album does have one of my favorite wilco songs in box full of letters but best debut of all time is a stretch in my opinion. i see appetite for destruction as the best debut album in my generation.

Do you guys think Wilco will ever play the smaller theatres in Chicago again? I for one hope so. I love going to see a show at the Auditorium but nothing beats a show at the Vic or the Riv. I took a buddy of mine to an auditorium show and he enjoyed it immensley. He liked the energy and I told him the smaller shows display it even better. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a summer show at the Vic. A evening when the cubs are playing in the afternoon would be perfect. Am I asking for too much?...wishful thinking
