Wire - Pink Flag
Where has this album been all my life? Great stuff.
Chairs Missing is even better.

Boy, was this ever a great purchase. What Miles albums should I look for next?
Definitely get Bitches Brew. Doesn't sound anything like Kind of Blue but completely essential. Live at the Plugged Nickel is great listening too. Look into Bill Evans (Waltz for Debby, Portrait in Jazz) and Coltrane (Love Supreme, Africa/Brass, Live at the Village Vanguard) and Monk (everything) as well.
np (thanks to doubter for the tip)

Not nearly as good a musician or a live act as the Jayhawks, but what can you do.

It'll be worth it as soon as the sweet sounds of "The Bear" with Andrew Bird guesting comes on.

Southeast Engine is awesome. Love those guys.

Seeing tonight's show in Philly and two weeks from now in NYC, I hope.
Kyle, these are all new tracks--
4. Open Pick
5. 15 Step
9. Arpeggi
13. House of Cards
14. Spooks
16. Bangers 'n Mash
20. Bodysnatchers
22. 4 Minute Warning
Of these, Bodysnatchers might be the best....there's another called Go Slowly that owns too.

No shit dude. Why do you think I moved?

Great show, and easily the best of the several I've seen this tour. Just a ridiculous treat for a double bill.
-
I don't know of a thread specifically on that, but my vote is for 11/3/02 in Gainesville. That show kicked royal ass, and the recording is decent quality, too.
yep

I've been getting lots of emails from bemydemon.org asking why I haven't gotten off my ass and posted the lyrics to Just a Kid, the Wilco book tracks, the MSG covers (you know, the ones from 48 hours ago), etc. The answer: I'm a lazy bastard. Yes, I am. That and I don't think I made it through the Wilco Book tracks even once.
That said, if anyone could help volunteering some lyrics to any of the following songs, I think I speak for more than just myself in saying it would be most appreciated:
Just a Kid
Pure Bug Beauty
This is New
Diamond Claw
This is New (The Explanation)
What Good Am I
Here Comes Everybody
Hummingbird (Soma)
The High Heat
Doubt
Barnyard Pimp
Rottnest
Hamami
Livin After Midnight
Love Will Keep Us Together
Political Science
I Shall Be Released
Something in the Air
Don't Fear the Reaper
Gut Feeling
Comment
[and any others I may be missing]
(Please be sure to mention the correct spelling of your full name to be included on the bemydemon thanks page, as well.)
Vaya con dios.

Doubter, I'm all over Oakley Hall like a fat kid on a ham sammich. As a matter of fact the two lovely ladies in that band are both my girlfriends.
And before I forget, a happy birthday to you. Hope you're enjoying it with much Centro and DBT.
