Man, I love Rush. I'd love to see them live but unless they come over here on this upcoming tour I probably never will get to see them.

I like the two new songs that have been knocking around the net lately and I thought that the last album was fantastic. My fave period remains the early years right up to Moving Pictures.

I saw Weller live 2 years ago and it was a fantastic night. High energy show full of classic tunes. Seeing him again at the end of the month and really looking forward to it.

I am kind of underwhelmed with them too. I only checked them out because I am seeing them soon but they are 4th on the bill behind Villagers, Midlake and Grizzly Bear so I may not even pay them that much attention then either.

I read King's 'Bag of Bones' and 'Cell' recently. Was on a kick. Fun stuff.

I thought Cell was poor o be honest. Seemed like a clearing the decks sort of exercise. Lisey's Story, Duma Key and Under The Dome that came after are much, much better. As is the short story collection Just After Sunset.

Rob Zombie is one messed up dude.

As Mets fans, we were sort of misled about how good Frankie Rodriguez really is, but the dude came up huge the last two nights. He is the anti-Luis Castillo.

2 out of 3 against the Yanks is good but really it has been a disappointing season so far. Phillies up next as well. Too late for Manuel to save his job? Trade Wright as well? Pity but you may be right about him.

This is all well and good but will we have the 30th and 35th anniversary re-issues as well? It is getting to be a bit of a joke now with everyone re-issuing stuff left, right and centre. REM is one of the bands I would reconsider my position for though.

Not gonna happen! We won't release him for anything other than silly money, Cheatalona are in serious money difficulties and he is under a long contract. The Professor is adept at convincing players he wants to keep to stay at the club.

This album seems to get better on every listen. Most plays for me over the year? It will surely be up there.

Did you see the show? Newsome was the best thing on it as well as Mumford & Sons, awful band name though. Worst show in a while though and that is saying something about that show. Holland's inane interview technique is bloody irritating. As for Hole....Lord why?
