I must be a minority here because I've always been a fan of ELO. Maybe it stems from long car rides with my parents. I also did see ELO part2 (sans Jeff Lynn) in concert with an orchestra.
My faves have got to be "Do Ya", "Turn To Stone", & "Showdown" (for it's appearance in Kingpin)
Edit: Wow... I can't believe I'm also going to go ahead and admit "All Over The World" from the Xanadu Soundtrack.

Holy Crap Those were the best 2 shows I might have ever seen.
Kaiser Chiefs
06/07 - Henry Fonda Theatre, LA
They played everything you wanted to hear, and they are way more rockin' live than they are on cd. The crowd was spectacular as well. The highlight for me was definetly "Oh My God." Everyone was jumping up and down and pointing. Maybe some of the best pointing I've ever seen! I don't recall the order, but they did bust out Ruby, I Predict A Riot, Modern Way, Nananana, Everyday I Love You Less and Less, The Angry Mob, Everything Is Average Nowadays, and Thankyou Very Much. Strong recommendation to see these guys, especially in an intimate setting. What could possibly follow this up?.....
LCD Soundsystem
06/10 - El Rey Theatre, LA
LCD can follow that up!!!! Of all the shows I've ever seen in my life (which is quite a few), I am going to have to say it was the best show I have ever attended in my entire life. No joke. I guess it helps that Sounds of Silver is my fave album this year. The venue is pretty intimate with a general admission standing room, and it was packed to the brim. They opened up with Time To Get Away. They also had the crowd dancing sexily to North American Scum, Watch The Tapes, Daft Punk Is Playing At My House, Us vs. Them, Tribulations. However the highlight of the show was easily Yeah. It seemed to go on forever, and I didn't want it to stop. It's crazy hearing a bunch of people just chanting Yeah Yeah Yeah YeahYeahYeahYeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah. (Give or take a couple of Yeahs). Whawhaweewha! For the closing number they did New York I Love You. They turned off all the lights except for the discoball. Phenomenal! Easily the greatest positive energy show I've ever seen. 3 nights in a row they sold out. I'm tryin' to get tickets to go again on Tuesday. Is it worth seeing again so soon? Yeah Yeah Yeah YeahYeahYeahYeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah!

and i just started season 3 of the shield

30min later. Got 2 tickets not super close, but do you need to be at the Greek Theatre in LA?
-
Yet again today I was unsuccessful in attaining tickets for an internet presale. Damn you Ticketmaster. I think ticketmaster doesn't want me to get close to see the Kings of Leon or any other presale tickets. Is this all based on luck? So frustrating. Anyone got any tips or tricks of the trade?

I'm hoping there's at least one track from the collection of Strokes songs he supposedly covered on the banjo.

The whole album is ripped on Oink currently.....
My fave so far is "conquest"

All the street cred that Huey needs is that he was a talent show judge in Back To The Future.
Courtest of IMDB
Back to the Future (1985) (uncredited) .... High-School Band Audition Judge
but unfortunatley, the news are on their own for street cred

"Come Pick Me Up" by Ryan Adams always seem to get me into a real 'fuck you' mood.
2nd that...
and on a more literal note..... Public Enemy's "By The Time I Get To Arizona" is pretty "fuck you"

Y isn't there a decent Steve Winwood greatest hits? why?

It's the Brew Crew's time.
If my memory serves me right..... Thank god they aren't in the AL Central anymore.

I have a bottle, but a little skeptical to try it....
I'll think I'll just go with this...
-
72/100 ... thought it would be lower... didn't quite consider radiohead, wilco, and LCD to be eclectic

My thoughts exactly....

"Ocean man, the crust is elusive when it casts forth to the childlike man"
Happy Birthday!

You're either joking or mixing up two songs.
Totally getting songs mixed hahaha.... just got back from a cruise from Baha, Mexico and I'm a bit discombobulated.... just the "incense & peppermints" song
-
My old roomie and I used to keep the beer in the crisper. u know.... so it would stay crisp
-
"Ferry, Cross The Mercy"
"Incense, Peppermints, Rosemary, Thyme"
I hate those with a passion.
oh... & the Macarena...
If one of those 3 were vanquished I would consider it a big win for humanity

Tim Duncan's Ejection. Ne1 else catch it? Think there's more to the story? Seems weird.

This is the kind of shit that makes me long for a job somewhere warm come May. It never ceases to amaze me just how much I despise winter.
That's what I did. Goodbye Detroit, Hello Southern Cali. .. . . but I do miss my Pistons, Lions, Redwings, & Tigers....

This is not going to fair well for me......

What is it about "Don't Stop Believing" that I've always loved? I can't stand Journey, but I love that song.
Maybe it has to do with South Detroit, AKA Windsor, Canada. Stupid head, there is no south Detroit.
I for one liked the ending. I'm sorry that the general public doesn't like to think for themselves. People move in and out of your life, sometimes abruptly. Simple as that.
