I heard their cover of Christina Aguilera's Beautiful the other day and was floored. I started listening to their other stuff and lovin it.

Really enjoy "Moment In The Sun" off of this record.

Third Stone From the Sun by Jimi Hendrix on the Are You Experienced LP. There are some incoherent 'vocals' at the beginning. If you could play it at 78rpm you would hear Hendrix and Chas Chandler having a short conversation as alien(s) in a spaceship approaching Earth - with phrases something like "calling star ship", etc.

Jimi was also in the backup band for Little Richard

I scored 3rd row tickets to the LA Dodgers vs LA Angels (of Anaheim) this weekend. Do you know how rowdy that'll be? wait... it's in Anaheim. Sigh, the only way it'll get rowdy is if they run out of sushi in the 5th inning.

Hopefully it's a redemption of my last Angels game, if any of you remember my Tigers vs Angels game I went to a couple months ago where they don't serve beer in the aisles! Bastards!

I don't remember many really good pitching staffs for the Tigers. Jack Morris is the last decent pitcher I can recall.

Possible that they'll have 2 20 win pitchers?
