everyone of these discs in the series are great
I've heard only volume 1 (the Capsoul label) and this one. They are both fantastic, though.

Oooh. I like the setlist. It is short, but still looks good.

I actually think the sound on this thing is pretty good. A bit muddy in spots, but I think it suits the mood of the show.
And .... for the record.... I love this album. These past few days, I've only stopped listening to it so I could give the new Dylan a few spins. Great stuff.

This was up on oink for a little while tonight, and I was able to grab it. I think it was the low quality version solace mentioned earlier, though....and now its been taken down.
Nonetheless, I'm liking it so far.

WHAT?!? Where? How? Talk,man!
Oh good one. I'm gonna have to pull out my copy and remember who else was there!Gary Louris - Neil Young. Oh, snap.

I seem to remember this book being in the 100-150 page range. Not exactly a tome.

My 2 cents:
I really liked Inside Man.
My favorite Spike flicks are Do the Right Thing and Clockers (nice to see it getting some love here...I feel it is oft overlooked).
And I will probably watch this documentary thing tonight...or atleast DVR it and watch it later....

I'm loving that thing to bits. It really is outstanding and I'm stupidly visualizing all the parrallels to the Last Waltz. ie Kelly Hogan - Joni Mitchell, Jon Langford - Ronnie Hawkins, Ethier - Dylan
Hmmm....I like it. How's about Emmylou Haris - Neko Case and Jon Spencer - Muddy Waters?
I blame the man's little head fascination with Cat Power and the strapping lads from Youth Group.I dunno. I rarely ever listen to Cat Power. And who the hell are Youth Group? Sounds a bit boy band-ish.

I'd say about 25% of my record collection is rap, maybe more. Haven't listened to much of late, though. Really became a big hip hop fan in 94-96 when I was in high school - with Southernplayalisticadillacmusik, ATLiens, and Soul Food all coming out (I'm from the ATL).
I always enjoy some Tribe, De La Soul, Outkast, the Roots crew, Blackalicious, J5, Dead Prez, Public Enemy, early Wu Tang, Rakim, Kool Keith, etc. DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist, too, if they count.
Some good hip hops shows I've seen: The Roots, Outkast, Talib Kweli, Busta Rhymes and the Flip Mode Squad, De La Soul.

highest musical match value on Last.fm. cool. Must be all that centro-matic.
Cool. Didn't know you could look at the details like that. Looks like I have an even higher match value with doubter, though:

You're right, must be all that centro-matic. By the way....this Sadies album is the shit, fo' real.

Oh, yes! I didn't realize this was even available yet. Is it officially out?
Anyway, I'd been waiting for this for a while....but actually had forgotten about it until your thread. I'm snatching it this very moment and will surely be purchasing it soon. Excellent....
