Email Notification Woes

I keep getting email notifications for new posts to the Rockstar Girlfriends Redux thread. A couple of problems with it:

 

1. I'm not set up to eceive email notifications of posts to any thread.

2. The notification states that I can kill the subscription using a non-existent link in My Controls called View Subscriptions.

3. Even if I was set up to receive the notifications, I shouldn't be receiving subsequent notifications if I haven't gone back to the thread, also as stated in the notification. Just an annoyance, but it's probably something that needs to be looked at in case I'm not the only one effected. Or affected, whichever. :-)

 

I won't get them for a long time, and then if I visit the forums they start pouring in and I get 5-10 of them within in a few hours.

You must've accidentally subscribed to the topic. Usually, it wouldn't matter because threads fizzle out pretty quickly. However, looks like you picked a great thread to accidentally watch.
