kaysettes
Solo version or album? It's in Drop D nonetheless. (I can't believe that's one word.)I'd check the archives, I'm sure there is a tab of it there.
Wilcology
Thanks. Well, I mean the solo version, I know the Being There version.
kaysettes
This tab is gonna be rough and a little inaccurate, but it'll give you the right ideaCapo on 2 (Key is E if you're playing harp as well)d-------------------------------------------B--------3-------------3------------3------G-----------2---2-------2--2--------2--2---D-----0-------0-----0-----0------0---0------ (intro and verse)A------------------------------------------0h2D---0--------------0------------0----------- For the chorus, I use an Em shape and the same picking pattern and switch to the Asus shape. Towards the end (I was maimed by rock and roll...) just strum the Asus with increasing volume. I also add in those chords from the BT version at the end. But that's me.Hope this helps! Wilcology
Thanks man.Why do you have the high E tuned to D if you don't use it? Edited May 23, 2005 by Wilcology
kaysettes
Thanks man.Why do you have the high E tuned to D if you don't use it? Just sorta habit to me when tuning in D. I guess you don't really need to tune it down and at the solo show tonight, it didn't sound like he tuned it down either.
Guest moshimitsu
just a little trick i use to play this version, if you don't want to retune your guitar and have the claw type capo, you can capo just the five highest strings on the second fret and leave the low E string un-capoed. its actually a pretty versatile tuning to spend some time exploring as you can get the rich e chord with the low bass note but can still play barre chords as normal, unlike with the standard drop d-tuning. enjoy.
