I really love this version of sunken treasure, although it's not the same as the solo once that have already been tabbed. Can somebody help me with this, at least the chords? I know the fingerpicking...

I would appreciate it, thank you.

here it is (uploaded by "bort"): http://download.loperco.com/misc/

I think this is also the same as the versions that were frequently played live in 2005. I'm not sure though.

Sounds similar to this:

Jeff Tweedy - Sunken Treasure

DADGBE, Capo on 2

This was played at a show between 1/6/03 and 1/9/03

First, the gist of the verse -

There's rows and rows of houses with windows painted blue
With light from the TV running parallel to you
There is no sunken treasure rumored to be
Wrapped inside my ribs
In a sea black with ink
(play the D chord until halfway through "sea," then switch to G for the rest of the line)

If I had a mountain I'd try to fold it over
If I had a boat
It'd probably roll over
(extend D and G for "probably")

I'd leave it on the shore
I'd leave it for somebody
Surely there's somebody
Who needs it more than me
(extend D and G for "needs")

A G/D
I am so, I am so
D-G riff
Out of tune

Em A/D
I am so out of tune
D-G riff
With you

D-G Riff

For all the trees will burn in autumn fires and then return
For all the fires we burn
All will return
(Extend the D for "all")

(Play a D5 chord for this part, alternating between the bass and the chord, progressively playing the low D string harder)

Music is my savior
I was maimed by rock and roll
I was maimed by rock and roll
I was tamed by rock and roll
I got my name from rock and roll

(get really loud, play the whole D chord)

I was saved by rock and roll
