quosh Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 I'm sorry to bump this, but I've now included an mp3... I was fooling round the other night with Jeff's solo version of The Long Cut. I used the Living Room Gig version (April 8). I'm virtually certain he tunes down to open G just prior to the start. I've figured some of the chords out, but I'd appreciate somebody (who knows a few more shapes in open G) having a quick look at it and letting me know what they think? It's a beautiful version of the song... I much prefer it to the original. Incidentally, the chords on gumbopages are just Em/D/G/C so I guess that the open chords would translate something like this: Open G DGDGBD Em x02002D xx0230G 000000C x02012 here's the version in question: The Long Cut So... any suggestions would be really, really welcome, I keep having a play around using the bare bones I've just mentioned above but I'm not really getting anywhere.
