I put on Catalpa at dusk tonight and it totally hit the spot. If you are a fan, what are your favorite records/songs of hers and why? (The new one just doesn't tickle me, unfortunately; in fact, I can't even remember what it's called.) Her music is informed by a lot of influences that aren't exactly contemporary or mainstream, and as a result I find it seems almost timeless. My favourite song of Holland's is Amen, because it has a gorgeous melody and it sounds like she's singing it with her entire heart. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
