Oil Can Boyd
Saw Lucinda last night and I have sort of mixed feelings about it. Her voice was great, the band was great, and the sound in the theater was spectacular. And yet somehow the whole thing was somewhat underwhelming. It was solid but it didn't leave me wanting more. One question: it was my first time seeing her and she certainly appeared to be reading lyrics from a notebook on the stage. Does she always do this? nalafej
Pretty solid setlist. She read lyrics when I saw her 3-4 years ago. I think it is part of the gig...
craigwinn
Saw here here in Brussels a few months ago, similar setlist. I've seen her a half-dozen times and there was only one show where I thought she was less than spectacular. Usually she's great. Yeah, she has lyrics on a music stand...but fortunately they are brilliant lyrics, so we can forgive her having a little trouble remembering them....
