muller
I, too, am getting pretty excited, don't know London very well, whereabouts is the venue? From the exit of Shepherds Bush tube station turn right, its about a 3 minute walk to the venue. You'll see a huge green on the opposite side of the road. Cross at the traffic lights and the venue is next door to the 'Walkabout' pub. Its a doddle to find.
unposed_question
Does anyone know the time the concert is supposed to start and the correct conversion times for US viewing?
jimmyketchup
According to SB empire's website: 9pm UK time - which would be 4pm in New York? I think? Support has been announced:http://www.myspace.com/ruarrijoseph

IF you go to the Shepherd's Bush tube that's on the central (the red one) line, but there's another Shepherd's Bush station on the 'Hammersmith & City Line', which is about as close as the other one. BUT, confusingly enough, the nearest station is Goldhawk Road, also on the Hammersmith & City Line. There's not much difference in the distances, but depending on where you're coming from, one 'line' could be a lot easier than another.... there's a map hereI, too, am getting pretty excited, don't know London very well, whereabouts is the venue? Also, can anyone recommend somewhere cheap and cheerful to stay nearby?Shepherd's Bush is full of fairly cheap B&B/hotels, but can be a little rough. It's also very close to Holland Park, which is lovely, and it's only a little further to Ladbroke Grove or Notting Hill, which might be a little more expensive..... depends how long you want to stay I s'pose...I haven't stayed in any of them...
