willstafa24 Posted June 16, 2007 Share Posted June 16, 2007 Ok, so as I am reading through the Indy reviews I noticed that What Light was replaced with Outasite. As I am reading everyone's joyful responses on this switch I hear a promo for the AMC channel while watching The Quick and the Dead. The promo included What Light as AMC displayed clips from various movies. Unlike the Volkswagen commercial, where Wilco did not get any written recognition for The Thanks I Get, What LightWilcoNonesuch Records was written at the bottom. I am simply writing this because I felt it was a curious story and an interesting tidbit. I do not think Wilco has sold out. I believe that selling out includes selling your music out and I am sure that SBS is not a sellout album. Good for the Wilcos getting the respect they earn while doing it the right way.
