LouieB
You know my rule - I have never paid more than 10 bucks for a used album.Yea, that is my rule too.....I have broken that rule a few times of late since prices are out of hand. (Frankly more than 5 or 6 for an album that may have cost 3 or 4 new is more than I like.) LouieB
stooka
Ya see, there's that copy of (insert some great record from childhood here) that had a skip on it. It played on through, but at the time it pissed you off - 'cause it was a great song. Later on in life, you buy it on CD and when the skip is supposed to come, it doesn't ...............and you miss it not being there. Now, what's up with that?

stooka
true, I guess my point is an lp can be more personal than a cd. I still enjoy them and am fascinated at the amount of people who believe turntables are no longer available, yet still have their albums. I have a few post 90s vinyl releases - but mostly older, historically significant releases.

Now, what's up with that?Thats the real beauty of an LP....that you know the surface as well as the music itself. Everyone can talk about how much better LPs sound (maybe and maybe not), but every LP has a feel that goes beyond the actual sound. LouieB
